De Ligt and Pellegrini are coming through to replenish the defence and we have the third best defender in the league atm so it’s the least of our concerns. Ronaldo’s departure was always going to hurt but it hurts allot more when you set up a team that’s allergic to creating chances.
I’d say Allegri given the squads. I think both Roma sides at least showed some promise before the wheels came of whether Allegri’s just been a slow burn of disappointment the whole way through.
He’ll have more competition for the wing next season with Lipinski coming in and the likes of Reef, Macrae, Bianco starting to come on. But I also think we can’t afford to have a player with speed and a long kick in the ressies so if he gets pushed off the wing I hope he atleast moves to half back.
Madgen being good one on one is a myth. One on one is where he gets caught out either by a player too strong or too quick for him. That’s why despite being a terrible decision maker he plays a role that allows him to get plenty of the ball.
What Madge is decent at is playing loose and getting...
On the other hand we shouldn’t pingeonhole our current developing small forwards in the one role. I could easily see McCreary as a small defender and Ginivan as a midfielder.
Games aren’t as a good because there’s no incentive to big developers to make them good when they can make more money cutting corners.
EA and Konami aren’t interested in making good soccer games they’re interested in milking as much cash from players in ultimate and my club.

I think the club overrated their prospects plus wanted to appease the fan base after a terrible trade period and it probably worked given the excimer for all the draft picks we got last year.
