Strategy Trade and List management Thread Part 2 (opposition supporters - READ posting rules before posting)

It depends what becomes available or what the club has up its sleeve - if anything at all. I stand by the fact we need experience, but only if the right player is available, otherwise I am with you we head to the draft.

Strategy Trade and List management Thread Part 2 (opposition supporters - READ posting rules before posting)

It’s hard to know what we should do from here, must be a whole lot of conversations going on within the club. We have so much quality youth and desperately need to add the class and experience. I look around and don’t see much on offer now we have lost out for Wingard. Do we look to add the...

Thanks for the info mate - always right on the money. I agree we have to find a way to bring in experience, I am not sure what is out there though that would fit in well. I feel Wingard was the ideal type of player - where to now?

Strategy Trade and List management Thread (cont in Part 2)

We have to get some experience in, we don’t need more kids. I believe we are set up well now with youth and need to bring in a player like Wingard to add that class and x-factor.

Would be thrilled if it’s pick 10 straight swap.

Strategy Trade and List .Management thread 5 (...the post coitus cigarette. Edition)

Just gotta hold our nerve right now, do what we have done so far and do not blink. I don’t know what is happening at the club and if it’s right to bring Jake back, but if what the club is saying and it’s true he would be welcomed back. I say hold our nerve now and unless something gets offered...

Strategy Trade and List .Management thread 5 (...the post coitus cigarette. Edition)

I would accept this trade if there is more going on behind the scenes that we do not know about and we just have to have Jake gone. I think a 2nd rounder and Schache would be a ok result for a player we want gone. However if there is a way we can reconcile and kee Jake then I am all for him...

Poll of where Bulldog members and supporters are

Hey, Anyone from the north west coast of Tasmania? I feel like I am one of only a few of us, but hopefully might find someone wanting to have a beer and a chat about our loved doggies?

Official Club Stuff Official: Tom Boyd officially a Bulldog for Griffen & Pick 6

Could not be happier right now. Not concerned at all with paying overs, I believe we had to take a punt to set our club up for the future. We now have our key forward who we can build around. Talia and Roberts will steady the ship as well down back, gee we have a mouthwatering list of kids. I...

    The Western Bulldogs Next Coach

From my point of view which in no way knows the full truth, Macca appeared on the right path to bring success to our club. It appears that senior players couldn't take brutal honesty. If as I believe this is the case how can you expect our club to go forward?. I'm as low as any supporter right...

    The Western Bulldogs Next Coach

Our club wouldn't have the heart to approach Thompson. He would come into the club and be as ruthless if not more so then Macca and the players wouldn't cope. In reality it looks like we will go the soft way now and appoint Montgomery or another assistant....under this we may see improvement but...

Mega Thread The Western Bulldogs - The Sack Macca saga

Thought I would sleep on this decision and it would feel better in the morning.... Well that was wrong it just feels totally wrong. I cannot believe our coach had to go for "trying to hard", I love this club, but I really doubt how we come back from this. If Griffen and Cooney stay I will spew...

The other part I don't understand is Gordon's comment of "he tried to hard". How the hell do you try to hard as a coach! Gee I would want my coach to live and breathe the club. I hope our next coach tries to hard.....although maybe this club continues to be happy with running second!

Mega Thread The Western Bulldogs - The Sack Macca saga

I sit here very disappointed. I have always been on the Macca team and believed he was the man to take this clib places. I was happy when I heard that he had laid the law down to some of the experienced guys, for I honestly believed they deserved it. I heard yesterday afternoon that Griffen...

Mega Thread The Western Bulldogs - The Sack Macca saga

Macca has not done that much wrong, yes we should have won more games this year, but the list still has not been right. The list that he did have to deal with didn't do too bad of a job and continue to improve from the 100 point hiding a we got in 2013. If you look back we could have won 13...

Mega Thread The Western Bulldogs - The Sack Macca saga

Whatever the case is, it is time Gordon comes out and says what is really happening at our club. What I would like to see is him come out and say, we have full support in McCartney and will back him to lead this club into the future. If the players are not happy they can suck it up or leave...
