I think the age group change is for 1 year only because of no footy this year. It will help a lot of kids who would go from 1st year thirds players straight into senior football by missing their last year of juniors. It will be changed back at end of year. Good move i think

And been very consistent from the start did not want a merged league & now do not want to be part of that league. I think if a clubs membership votes at or near 90% to leave they must feel its in their best interests. Should be respected & allowed to leave.

I wouldnt think that traf would appeal & doubt AFL vic wouldve granted the appeal if background talking hadnt taken place. But why wouldnt they be accepted. Town of high recent growth, strong juniors & good facilities. And i would think geographiclly suited to that league & wouldnt be competing...

I dont like the hub scenario with a draw that evens out over 2 or 3 years. Clubs moving in & out could make it very uneven draw which is ok in the big league but shit for country leagues. Better off asking who wants in who wants out & sorting it out once for all. Only way to get a happy stable...
