There's probably a hardness with Sheezel that we'd need to see before he becomes captain. He'll play his role and motivate the crew, but a captain needs to be able to tell someone to pull their head in whenever required. Does he have that in him yet?

Strong points but I disagree. Just watch the mic'd up clips for Parker and Simpkin and you'll see the stark contrast. Parker is directing traffic, constantly vocal and respected. A season of Parker in the guts will hopefully help LDU/Simpkin find their voice and actually direct the crew...

A top 3 pick in a draft with Duursma and Sharpe seems too steep for Houston, a HBF. A pick 8-12 seems reasonable but probably not too much more than that. If Balta is available end of next year would rather go after him actively.
