Butters is an effective tackler and JHF not bad. I had not realised JHF was related to Fabian Francis until last weekend when FF was in the PA rooms. PA's defence was OK this year - fell apart after the team lost Houston and and Farrell. Burgoyne was very handy last week.

Exactly, games are 4 quarters and you and I have both seen so many sides not take advantage of early dominance get run down in the end. rthe way you start is as important as the way you end

you're a bigger person than me when it comes to the Hawks and Sam Mitchell. Envy, resentment and bad memories of Jobe's medal being given to SM and him miming injections on field invariably surface when I hear people praising their resurrection and good management. Childish I know, but their...

AFL Autopsy RND 24: Done At The Gabba

We've improved on last year. There was greater effort across the season even if skills let us down when it mattered. Apart from the Port game no absolute shockers..although Geelong and Sydney games (x2) both disappointing. A kind of nothing, numbing, frustrating year. I feel it would have been...

AFL Autopsy Season done, thanks Swans

I don't think it was being weak minded, I think it brought home how exhausted they were and there was nothing left in the tank. They'd worked so hard for no reward because their skills were so poor.

I thought the same sitting at home on the couch. We wore ourselves out in the first half for no reward and then they strolled through in the second half. As predictable as night follows day...
