West definitely looked like they have improved and added to their list whereas Panton Hill are struggling to cover the quality of senior players that have moved elsewhere for 2017.

I didn't hear or see any of this when he was playing in your jumper for 3 years. I'm not sure what way he conducted himself at other clubs, but I can factually tell you at Lower Plenty he voluntarily took under 19's training on a couple of occasions (25+ witnesses for that) understanding well...
Not sure of their actual training schedule, but have heard of the odd "compulsory" Saturday session here and there. Although there is nothing wrong with putting in the extra sessions to achieve success, but you should do it with caution for one simple reason; you have to remember this standard...
I don't exactly think the "debatable quality" of players who Lower Plenty have lost is the issue, but there definitely has been a lot of off-season and pre-season chatter about them. I don't think it really matters who they have lost to an extent but more so the "players in" "players out"...
How did Banyule shape up last weekend against Panton Hill?
Haven't heard much about the game surprisingly. Considering the off-season recruitment, I thought there would be a bit to report on.
