I can confirm we have been talking with Chris over the past few weeks, he has a few ex Violet Town mates playing at the club and just wants to have a kick with him. At this stage nothing has been locked in.

If true it's great for div3 footy in general and will attract a lot of interest. Who cares what he makes and who is paying for it. I seen him play a game a few years back and he has slowed down a bit, and seems to be playing more for enjoyment these days but his still competitive, but good on him for putting his time back into local community footy. I'm sure he doesn't need the money as his done well for himself. "Well done Banyule if they can get him"

I went to watch Morang play Wallan yesterday.
Morang U/19's won by some 15 goals, Morang 2's won by over 10 goals.
Morang Seniors got beat by 15 or so points, couple of injuries early & the hot day took it's toll on the Lions.
Must say they were fighting in back in the last quarter & looked to be on their way to over run Wallan when the game was stopped by both coaches, due to an injure to a Wallan player.

went and had a look at morang vs wallan. not a bad hit out, talking to morang supporters missing upwards of 10 players so will be much better in the coming weeks. one player to watch jake potter. absolutely dominatd across half forward. going to be very hard to stop.

How did Banyule shape up last weekend against Panton Hill?

I remember meeting Brad Judd many moons ago when I lived up north and a couple of mates were playing with the Caloundra Panthers, good bloke.

Not sure to be totally honest. Have cast an eye a few times, numbers have looked solid, plenty of new (or returning) heads but yet to see it translate thru to transfer page.

Wallan may be a little strong if they roll out at full tilt, I expect them to make inroads this year
