This must be the weekend of the season so far? Don't think we've had Port and the Pies lose together 'til now.
I'll even give the Saints a pass for handing the lot up the road a loss at home after coming in favourites for the first time in who knows how long.
Going to need them to bounce back...
Agree with the first part of your post but Fyfe was clearly better in 2015
Edit: didn't read your post properly, you're clearly taking the piss with Gresham, play on
It's painful reading so much nuff. Swap out Fyfe for Dusty playing the best match of his life and it's still a 10 goal loss.
You should be chuffed that you didn't have anyone overly stand out as carrying the side and you still dismantle a team by 13 goals
Mitchell and Cotchin both deserve the medal, and it is a shame that they were robbed of that moment. I'm not sure exactly how it would play out, but I like the idea of retrospectively awarding them a little later down the track so as not to conflate their achievement with the scandal surrounding...
I don't think it does. They're a minor party, they can hold value by raising new ideas to a national audience. Regardless, if you look further into their policies they do discuss sources of revenue.
My first impression of these guys was that their priorities lay more with maintaining 'real (white) Australia' than any pursuit of a more sustainable society. But after another look a lot of it seems pretty reasonable:
"10 policy priorities:
Secure jobs in a more diverse economy, underpinned...
Nuh the Oxford's alright. Cheap beer if you're not feeling fussy, a pool table in working order, and its super convenient. You just have to love it for what it is
I think you generally see that quote falsely attributed to Churchill. It's complete nonsense, but if there were any truth behind that shift in ideology it would more likely be explained by a growing resistance to change with age, rather than some kind of epiphany regarding the logic of the...
Do you honestly think there's a point that we'll hit and think: "Yep, this is good, everyone slow down we've hit peak standard of living". Because I personally believe there is literally zero chance of that happening, it's a flawed concept - we could have drawn that line just as well ten years...
There actually is some great fake meat. Although yes, steak is probably the hardest to replicate. But there's plenty of good fake chicken, pork, sausage/mince etc products out there.
Disagree on the last part. If you have ethical objections to eating meat but you had enjoyed the taste of it...
There's some pretty good fake meat out there. It's definitely made a lot easier now.
I'm not sure if we're doing them a favour by bringing them into this world to be reared in a cramped metal cage.
A general question to everyone: what would it take for you to give up meat? And what are your thoughts on the following reasons for going vego:
Reduction in unnecessary animal cruelty from factory farming
Environmental reasons:%20(Oct%202015).pdf']"Agriculture, particularly meat and dairy...
Exactly this^
If a clear majority of the country supports something, when every electorate bar one is in favour of it, when these people have elected members to pass legislation to represent their views, and yet somehow it doesn't happen (and more money is spent to avoid doing so) - surely...
