It certainly wasn't a good look but the lad has put his head down and is training the house down now. I'm not saying it was a good thing to happen but it seems no permanent harm has been done so I for one wish people would stop bringing this up.
Interesting observation about what to do with Tex. He'll be managed this year anyway but I've noticed in the past both Fog and TT play better without Tex in the forward line or perhaps even when he's not playing at all. I'd personally prefer Fog and TT as the go to forwards and Tex roaming...
My biggest fear for the Crow's is that Nick's will somehow stuff up the game plan again and ruin another season with this very promising group the club has developed.
Well who knows about that. He's still only young for a ruckman, he may think he might have a shot at AFL again even if he's listed on the Crow's SANFL list. Given the piss poor state of our ruck stocks it's not such a long shot.
Just wondering, where was this officially stated? My Norwood work friend read something that he has agreed to play for Norwood and that he's only training with the Crow's??? Is there a link???
Ben Keays and Laird aren't duds. McSpudry is/was.
Laird may be past his prime but has had a very good career. Ben Keays is no superstar but is a very capable AFL footballer.
Welcome Welsh. Now it's time to build your fitness.
Check out the clip of Tyler on the AFL website draft tracker. It's a vision for the future with Draper delivering a perfect pass to Welsh who goals in the SA vs Vic's match. 👍
I'm stoked we got Draper. We've had a ripper offseason so far, now Welsh for peanuts would be the icing on the cake.
Added bonus is most of the Port board are spewing we got Draper especially with what they've done so far.
No excuses for Nick's now it's finals or bust.
The worst thing that could happen is they start the season with that stupid defensive mindset as they did this year. That was absolutely mind boggling!!!
In 2023 at times Crow's played some of the most attractive football in the competition, then went to the exact opposite for the 1st 4 or 5...
I agree with most of that except Cook. I'm not at all convinced with him yet. Pedlar has much more upside than Cook IMO if he can get his body right and confidence.
