Gee you love potting Newport. Ever actually met some of the people there? Can guarantee there are as many great people as any other club. And as many clowns as well. Its a different culture to most but its still a footy club.
Bachar will contribute more than he will ever owe to them next year...
ROUND 1 TIPS
NP by 2 goals over PS (NP will play Langshaws well. The New Fortress. Feel that PS haven't improved enough this off season. Hot rivalry)
NF by 5 goals over ML (NF to recapture the 2017 form. ML to underachieve again)
YSE by 5 goals over WV (YSE should be untouchable this year. A...
Can't elaborate much. Only heard NP were not going to field seniors next season. But theres still a full list of players and coaches. Is it a club split or a fold?
Hoping someone else could shed some light.
What has happened at NP? Club folding seniors or going down the same path as Altona with seperate junior and senior clubs? Can anyone clarify/confirm? Interesting developments since the premiership... if true, tipping them to go back to div 3
Who's wheels have fallen off more? NF or NP? Are NF just fatigued? NP have been hit hard with injuries however. Lost B. Mesto, Z. Kaddour, J. Dixon and perhaps A. Alkantar for the season plus a couple more. A lot of experience in that group. Still expecting to win the next 2 however. Finish the...
Gee and they were buzzing when they brought in all those blokes. Perhaps RDFL is the right fit. Any word on that Goldfields League they have been floating for a few years? With all the sunbury, melton and riddell teams in it? I think it was AFL Yarra that just turned over a few clubs? Seems to...
NP have only themselves to blame. A poor last month and they've kissed it goodbye. PS seem to have found their groove late in the season. NF haven't looked their best either. PS could just sneak into a Prelim. But all teams making up the numbers. YSE absolutely flying.
As for Melton South to...
Round 14 Tips
NF by 10 goals over AV (AV looking to 2019. NF trying to find its feet again in 2018)
PS by 5 goals over NP (NP notoriously bad travellers. PS finding momentum. Game of the week, winner to most likely make finals)
PC by 10 goals over WF (PC to bounce back huge)
YSE by 10 goals over...
Finally some interest and pressure in the finals race. 3 teams fighting for one spot. PS v NP next week to be the decider. Expecting ML to fall over in the next month. But any team on any day.
Looks solid Robo.
YSE over AV (no need for scores)
ML by 8 goals over WF (ML good at home)
NP by 1 goal over NF (NF bleeding. NP to go for a big kill) (gambling my good run of tips on this one)
PC by 5 goals over PS (PS sneaking into finals but PC still stronger)
major failure of communication by NP in that last quarter. Huge clutch moment by ML in the end though. Great game from what has been heard. Will be a tough fight from the pair for that 4th spot.
Round 11 Tips:
NP by 8 goals over AV (the fortress)
PC by 2 goals over YSE(PC hard to beat at home)...
PC by a phone number over AV (season done for the cobras)
ML by 3 goals over NP (NP travel poorly and the new leadership at ML might be the kickstart they need)
NF by 8 goals over PS (NF just a class above PS)
YSE by 100+ over WF (no explanation needed)
had them as my tip to make a massive move to top of the ladder. thought they would build nicely on their form of last season. any news on what stopped this massive leap forward? huge game for them this week against NP. might have to watch this space
MID SEASON LADDER PREDICTION
1. YSE (flying)
2. PC (just as strong)
3. NF (only a couple of steps behind)
4. NP (this is where the grand canyon can fit between 3rd and the rest)
5. ML (not quite what they were last season)
6. PS (quality promotion back to the division)
7. WF (good thing AV are...
Round 9 Tips:
NF by 10 goals ove ML (NF strong at home and on the rebound)
PC by 10 goals over NP (NP no chance away from home)
YSE by 10 goals over PS (PS not showing much lately)
WF by 2 goals over AV (WF know how to play on the unplayable surface)
A relatively uninteresting round of footy...
Round 8 Tips:
PS by 4 goals over AV (could really go either way)
NP by 8 goals over WF (feeling good about NP after the PS game)
PC by 5 goals over ML (the dogs to keep on rolling)
YSE by 1 goal over NF (another tight one, YSE to grind out a ripper)
In g
in good from for tips. lets see how this week goes.
NF by 100+ over AV (easy)
YSE by 4 goals over ML (YSE still the benchmark but ML back on track and at home)
NP by 5 goals over PS (the Bryan Martyn Oval Fortress to get NP over the line, first time they have met since 2016 GF hope the...
Round 6 Tips:
NF by 15goals over NP (NF looking good, NP looking ordinary)
PC by 8goals over PS (PC to give Merv Hughes Oval a good showing)
ML by 5 goals over WF (ML starting to get back on track)
YSE by 15 goals over AV (need i say more?)
round 5 tips:
ML by 6goals over AV (still dont rate AV and ML will be confident after last week)
YSE over NP by a tough 3-4goals (NP strong at home but YSE will still be a class above, hopefully they get a full game unlike last year)
NF over PC by less than 2 goals (PC backline not enough for...
If NP just announced Hobson Bay Council to fund $1.2m to upgrade facilities at Bryan Martyn Oval, surely the Maribyrnong Council will chip in to help repair and upgrade the quality of WF. Even if that means relocating for a season like many clubs have done before.
Early tips for this week:
NP by 10 Goals over AV (don't rate the cobras and powers pressure is huge)
ML over PS by 5goals (stiff to be winless. will bounce back at home)
NF over WF by 15 Goals(West shouldnt bother showing up)
YSE by 2goals over PC (YSE to show why they are the powerhouse of the...
with this sort of competitiveness one would hope we can see as tight a competetion as edfl div 1.
despite having NF and YSE head and shoulders above imo.
From sources, Albanvale got put to the test by Point Cook Centrals over the weekend. Can anyone confirm? Doesn't sound like they'll be the threat they hoped. Any notable changes down Station Road?
Word on Manor Lakes has been suspiciously quiet. Could they be a sleeping giant?
With most teams back already and some starting this week, are there ANY post-Christmas developments in this division? over a month since the last post on here, is this the most irrelevant division in vic metro?
maybe if these so called club people went to a club function or attended a game they would know about these things instead of feeding articles to the herald sun
