hey guys, i have just been reading all the stuff here. livingston and kurt, well mostly kurt, spoke to every club going around. the going rate was 1200 for livingston and a $3K sign on and $800 a game and a $2K sign on. Marby paid it.

i am not having a go at marby. i was also grouping in glenroy and probably should have included avondale heights. i dont think league will ever enforce this rule and i think marby should be in a grade, and are probably the favs to win it. it hasnt got to do with my hatred for marby, it just that...

the edfl rules committee has zero input into the promotion and relegation issue. the promotion and relegation is a power given the edfl board and could have been exercised to keep glenroy or marby in b grade. its a rule that has never been used to my knowledge, but it is there.

everyone in the edfl thinks allison is a joke. he couldnt coach for his life. he if brought no money to the table then he would not have the job. how does he compare to macpherson or mighty mike, not to highly i would think.

it all depends on how you define regular. any side in b grade would lose 10 games by over 14 goals. in my mind that is regularly copping floggings. my point is not that GV, KE, or SM would flog the b grade teams, its that OP would beat them by 10-12 goals also. and if oak park are the worst team...

dont get to far ahead of myself. you are an idiot. the beltings these b grade teams would cope would be amazing. the northern saints are made up of 10 GV players that couldnt get a game for GV seniors, and some that were on the bench in the reserves. the Glenroy team is headed by 2 stand out...

league b&f i reakon barry brooks would have to be a chance. plays in more losing sides than most but is a stand out. would get votes in most games. must have taken 20 marks the day i saw him.

i couldnt agree more with this statement. the players that left keilor have gotten alot better since they left. towner and whichello were just players on their departure and have since turned into guns because their names have been splashed on bigfooty. i doubt if those two would get a game a GV.

couldnt agree with you more bomber. abers fall into the same trap every year. they recruit 10 blokes of ordinary ability. abers are miles off the flag, but id say will contest the a reserve flag with cragieburn.

i think what some clubs are talking about is they give pillios phones for players re the edfl footy show and these numbers and contacts are used for recruiting. its the same reason that clubs are unhappy with Airport West. Im all for promoting the edfl, its just hard when some have a conflict on...
