His twitter bet paid off immensely, took the risk and now has POTUS elect owing him one.
Imo he's a throwback to the great American tradition of robber baron capitalists
Yeah, I think its also because they are so North.
That we let the MUGARS train at Arden Street before women's footy was cool - and still didn't get in the initial W League.
Its just so North.
Yeah, the Lions are trying to pretend they're underdogs is quite telling psychologically.
I'd like to think that if we ever win a flag, our attitude will be "WE ARE THE QUEENS, COIME AND HAVE A GO" the next year.
If we turn up, we will win.
Good post.
I think Jy doesn't get enough credit for sticking fat with the club and Clarko through the Hawthorn stuff though.
Was a really difficult time for him
I dunno, I think he's just been unlucky to be captain at a poor time.
I mean I'm not sure how he's meant to make forwards chase or even get faster.
Agree with need for change though.
For all our back and forth, you're an absolute North stalwart, at a club where that word means more than most.
You were first and bang on the money with Tarryn getting 18 weeks - good call.
Yep, agree on all.
People also don't understand just how on the nose we were in 2020/21/22.
Like, nobody wanted to come and those who did, their clubs knew they could overcharge because of how desperate we were.
This is why the shitcanning of Brady annoys me so much. People act like he hasn't had the hardest job in footy for years, that's only now getting easier given Clarko can addd some heft.
Jeez he speaks well. Just as Liam Shiels has immediatley moved into a key recruiting role for us, I'm sure Parker will become an assistant after his deal ends.
This is the beauty of getting Clarko as we have, it really builds out the whole club in a way we struggled to before.
