Not quite! In 2003 Swans played the Preliminary Final against Brisbane, the game where TEN apologised on behalf of all the experts who predicted a Swans wooden spoon.
Does anyone know what his official AFL game count is? Pretty sure pre-season games count for GF lap eligibility (200 games) as would SOO and IR games if he had any. A Norm Smith would have made him eligible too.
A correction to the above (after Googling)...
"The AFL membership cut off date is 31 July 2014. Any membership purchased after 5 pm on this date will not be eligible to access finals tickets, and will not be included in the official 2014 total membership tally."
How timely....

They'll be too late. Official Membership numbers (and finals eligibility) cut off in early July.
Though for Homebush finals the cutoff always gets waived (plenty of seats) but applied very strictly for the GF. The Official numbers also determine the seat allocation split between the opposing teams.
Geelong would disagree!
A strong Sydney is worth even more in the increased value of media rights. Without Sydney (and the other northern teams) the media rights would plummet by at least 50%
Yes, he does act for you, but constantly claims to be acting for the AFL as a whole. He misrepresents Collingwood's interests as being the AFL's interests. Even Jeff was more honest.
The typical Eddie response - what's good for Collingwood is always in the AFL's best interest.
But somehow what maximises TV revenues (a strong team in NSW) is unfair advantage?
Really? The upper levels have to lean forward to see the near boundary line as it is. Any wider and you won't be able to see play there at all.
Unless you think moving the main side stands is "easy"?
