They'll be too late. Official Membership numbers (and finals eligibility) cut off in early July. Though for Homebush finals the cutoff always gets waived (plenty of seats) but applied very strictly for the GF. The Official numbers also determine the seat allocation split between the opposing teams.

Really? The upper levels have to lean forward to see the near boundary line as it is. Any wider and you won't be able to see play there at all. Unless you think moving the main side stands is "easy"?
