WANTED - 1995 Round 5 Sydney Def Adelaide

Hey everyone

Im looking for the 1995 clash between Adelaide and Sydney, if anyone has this game please let me know, i would love a copy, I have all other clashes between the clubs

That was an extraordinary game and our last quarter was one of the best I've ever seen us play. I remember one of my favourites as a kid, Dale Lewis played a great game.

I just checked the stats and we kicked, 11.9 to 1 point in the last. 20 scoring shots to 1.

I definitely had a copy of it at some stage as I remember watching the last quarter about 20,000 times as a kid. It would most likely be gone now though.

thats a bugger, if you come across it though let me know, both Modra and Plugger both had off days, 3.4 each, we have had a couple games where we were up by a few and then at 3 quarter time, then get hammered, most recent 2011 vs Pies, always had a soft spot for the swannies myself, and just a side note, this was the first game for Michael O'Loughlin, Andrew McLeod played his first in the next round

one of my best memories of that game is sitting next to an older swan going off at tony mcguiness "you're soft mcguinness in that lollipop jumper of yours". He was literally within touching distance of mcguiness. I remembered thinking - jeez if some bloke said that to me that close I would have been hard pressed not to reach over and pull him onto the field to show who was soft....

The last quarter was just amazing - very similar to sat night except we came from behind at 3/4 time iirc

I've got the last quarter on vhs haven't played it for a long time though

funny you say that, I was watching an old crows game, i cant remember which now, something tells me 93 vs richmond but i may be wrong, any way McGuinness crashed into the crows runner, then pretty much decks him, the guy gets up moments later and leaves the ground, he did get in McGuinness's way but I dont think he deserved to be hit after that, today if someone did that to their own runner they would probably get fined or suspended

I was at that game with the Swans kicking to the Randwick end in the last quarter (from memory).
Those were the days when you walked into the SCG and not only did you pick your own seat but your own row in which to sit at.
Probably one of the best quarters of football I've ever seen.
