I'm not an expert by any means but I imagine that doing weights can be quite damaging for a 13 year old. I'd get some professional advice on any weights program you're doing as I've seen first hand how people's growth can be stunted from doing weights at a young age.
Just a question to those who follow the draft and have seen Sheldon play this year. How would you rate him compared to those in this year's draft and where would you have expected him to go?
If he hadn't nominated last year, would you expect that Carlton would have been willing to give up...
2018 will most likely go to England. UEFA won't be happy having 3 World cup's in a row away from Europe and with England being the most likely European candidate, it should see them get it.
We'll have a better chance of going for 2022 World Cup assuming we can qualify and have strong...
Am really excited about Aisake. Watched him a few times in the Bullants before he got injured last year and was really impressed. Will probably need a couple more pre-seasons to fully establish himself but once he does that - watch out!
Spot on. Especially remember when he launched into Pavarotti's part of Miss Sarajevo, was really taken back by how good his voice actually is.
And to all those comparing U2 to Spice Girls, once Spice Girls release a series of great albums over a 30 year period and still manage to sell out...
If Ratten rates him highly enough to bring him back and all his medical reports check out, I wouldn't be against it.
Considering it doesn't look like there will be anything of quality in the PSD and with apparantly a shallow draft this year, we could do worse than giving him a one year...
Fringe players like Saddington and Bannister will provide us with depth for next year in case we get a bad run with injuries and represent much better value to us than Pick 68 or so in the draft. Also, considering we will take 3-4 players in the Rookie Draft, we still have a good opportunity to...
Jackson and Aisake had served the maximum time allowed on the rookie list (2 and 3 years respectively). They either had to be delisted or promoted. Jamison can still be kept on the rookie list for another year. The reason why Jackson and Aisake were elevated has more to do with list management...
We have 4 spots remaining on the senior list (3 ND picks and 1 PSD pick)
I think we're allowed to have 6 rookie spots with no veterens on our list. Hence, we should pick up 4 rookies in the rookie draft with Jamison being a nominated rookie.
In regards to Shields, I would suspect we would...
You're completely wrong. We still have plenty of salary cap room even with the signing of Judd as only him, Fev and Stevens are on decent money.
If Whitnall's knee wasn't stuffed we would have given him a reduced one year contract. But word has it that he would only be able to train once a...
All those people saying this is due to salary cap pressure have no idea.
If we had not signed up Judd, Lance would have been even more likely to go as we would have still had Kennedy as another option up forward. Getting rid of Lance now is simply because he is past it. Would love to see...
Exactly right. Bentick does a lot of the in-and-under work that simply doesn't get credited on the stats sheet. He is safe and will still play a valuable role for us for at least the next couple of years. I still have him in my best 22.
Would take him in the PSD if it means that Ackland never plays another game for Carlton.
Would be a bit worried about his body and ability to remain on the park for the whole season, however if we can get 2 years of service out of him whilst Aisake and Hampson play second fiddle to him, it...
I feel very sorry for Kennedy, have always rated him and thinks he just needs a few years of development to fully come on. Will be wishing him the very best at WC and will live quietly in hope that we might be able to trade back for him in a couple of years time.
Regardless, in order to get...
No Carlton supporters expect much from him in his first season. However what I do expect is that a bunch of moronic posters from other clubs will label him a dud if somebody like Cotchin who goes later gives a BOG performance while Krezuer is still playing in the VFL.

Bradley is only a part-time coach due to his outside business interests, I believe. The bullants coach is a full time role so I doubt he'd be in line to take it, especially as it has been documented that he doesn't have future senior coaching aspirations.
I like the idea of Dean at the club...
I recall last year that the Akermanis deal was agreed to in principle by Tuesday yet it took till Friday for all the paper work to go through. I would expect something similiar to happen with the Judd deal this year.
I'm sure that if took this path, that there would be ways to stipulate in the terms that this didn't happen without it seeming that we screwed over WC. Won't be an issue though...we will trade with WC.
