Probably not, but every year they turn over alot of players and it's sure to play havoc with planning and list management.
Whilst it's not working, they can't just let players have it in their minds that they can easily break a contract
Jay Clark reporting Essendon could walk away from the Hill deal. Taking a pragmatic approach to something which caught us by surprise in the first place.
Search up his goal from the Semi Final against Geelong and some of his other highlights.
I haven't watched him that closely but from what I have seen he has good skills and is very clean with the ball.
Not really sure why he goes missing and whether that is more to do with the GWS forward...
2021 goals per game average is 11.5 up from 8.8 in 2020. 5 score involvements in close to half the average
Josh Green last played in 2018 when the average was 12 and his last fill season was 2017 when the average was 13.
So not really like for like
Really not sure why there is so much negativity around Hill tbh.
He's a ready replacement and upgrade on Mosi and fill's a need we have.
He played almost every game for GWS last year, except when he had to go home to support his family during Covid, and his brilliant goal in the final almost...
Doesn't developing mean they are not quiet ready yet.
The theme appears to be writing off all the players the club has been trying to develop in the midfield as either .
a) Not a pure midfielder - Langford, Snelling, Cox, Stringer, Perkins
b) Not good enough - Ham, Clarke
c) Injury Prone -...
Yeah I find this a bit puzzling. It sounds like they want him as primarily a KP forward but maybe the plan is to develop Wright into a full time forward.
In any case I trust that they have a good plan based on the list decisions that have made over the last year.
Steph Martin and Laird or Blicvas and Hodge
Martin has the bonus of having already had the bye but I don;t know alot about Laird (scores have been good though)
Why is it irrelevant? His scores have improved massively since moving to the midfield. A role which the coaches have continually praised his performance.
I can't see why his fitness would be an issue, he's into his 3rd season not a rookie. So yeah i think he can sustain it.
If his scores...
Just on Yeo - Since moving to the midfield he has featured in the coaches votes for the last 4 weeks.
If the coaches are happy then he's going to keep playing the same role
hey guys
SC wise Hannebery had a ripper start to the year and now with Mitchell coming in it seems like last years big SC scorer's in Kennedy, Parker and Jack are all down on last year.
Do you think it's just down to rotations and we will see those five guys fluctuate throughout the year or...
Wouldn;t in the past but the KP defenders seem to be killing it in SC this year so might be a consideration,.
Is Butler the real deal - avg over 80 in his 3 games with a big 130 last week?
I noticed that the Pies were paying a bit of attention to Lonie last week, so he's obviously rated.
St Kilda have said he is over his injury which would be the only reason i could see that he would miss.
I've got a feeling Lonie's scores will be better later in the year.
You're right he's currently the 7th highest scoring ruck and only 9 points on average behind the 2nd highest ruck.
It's just the money that he's losing and the fear that he's not going to get close to avg 114+ again.
His stats so far this year don;t look much different to last years averages...
Thinking Mumford might be on the way out of my team this week. BE is 170 if he plays and doesn;t look like getting those monster scores from 2014. Only Goldstein looks to be still scoring ok with the changes to ruck scoring.
Really want Swan this week as he loves the Bombers and form suggests...
I though he was pretty good with his disposal - notably against the Hawks in the last qtr when the pressure was on.
But I must be missing something as I noted he only went at 33% against Carlton.
His attitude is pretty poor imo. He comes across as completely self obsessed and immature.
In hindsight he is treating Essendon the same way he treated Geelong when he left.
I can understand holding a grudge etc but no need to air it so openly.
Another example of Paige making up a story and getting caught out

Good to know that the Essendon Players mum is legit and wasn't some hoax like some simpletons implied. At least the player is known now.
When I questioned who it was...
Wait to see who is selected. Cripps, Goodes, Miller and Sheed potentially could still make you some money if they are playing. If any of them get dropped then make them priority.
Even though Lambert is not playing I don;t think he is a priority at this stage. At his low price you aren;t makng...
Currently have Mitchell sitting at M6. I initially grabbed him as he is underpriced and should avg 100+.
I am considering trading to either NVB or Rich who look like averaging the same but come in much cheaper, allowing me to pocket some cash to upgrade Goodes in defence.
Is it worth wasting...
