The ex captain can't be sanctioned by the league because he is not a current registered official with HS. If he ever registers in any capacity again he will be made to front tribunal and will be sanctioned. That's what the EDFL has said.
I suppose he got there with his legs after he saw the two HS people involved. If you read what is in the final report from the investigation it says the same thing…Calder went and pushed Valpato after Valpato made contact with players.
Do you need it simpler than that? Ask your Club to see the...
I didn’t say they got there first…The Umpires and the offficial report from the investigation said they were the first ones there.
Not real smart are you.
You’re full of it!! I have read the report from the investigation and it clearly states that the umpire called the game off when Volpato and Pace (both from HS) entered the melee.
Pace does not make contact with any players but Volpato does. Volpato is pushed away by Calder after making contact...
If you are referring to me hating HS, well then you are wrong. My brother played for many years at HS in the early years of having a senior men’s team and I still have a lot of friends involved there.
To answer your question “have things improved since 2017”….
Considering two HS people thought...
Stupid from both clubs really.
Interesting to hear yesterday that HS had more players suspended last year for umpire abuse than any other club in the EDFL. Also in 2017 they had an incident where an official was suspended for 10 weeks for hitting a player and a player also suspended for 12 weeks...
Actually no, it wouldn’t have happened if those two from HS didn’t run in.
You can speculate all you want but fact is those two from HS were responsible for the whole thing kicking off.
Gee Hillside have the PR machine working hard on here. So much made up b******t being posted by some is mind boggling. Turbo you are the biggest culprit.
Amongst all of the spin let’s not forget the FACT that none of this would have happened if TWO HS people (one being the ex captain) didn’t...
There are two clubs that behaved inappropriately. Everyone will go back and forth as to who is to blame and that will achieve nothing. BOTH CLUBS are equally responsible for what happened and BOTH clubs are equally responsible for making sure nothing like this ever happens again. Both clubs...
Turbo, enough of your b******t too mate. I called out Bingo for improperly representing what our club stands for.
You need to cut the crap and stop trying to paint a picture of SA being the bad guys and HS merely a participant in all this. BOTH clubs are equally responsible for this mess and...
Bingo, I don’t know who you are but you aren’t doing much for the image of our club posting crap like this. I’ve been a part of SA my whole life and this is not who we are or what we are about.
You’re unbelievable Turbo…You need to stop with the accusations unless you actually know. Both of those who ran on from that side were from HS. Not “apparently”, definitely. I will not post their names but I know who they were and they are from HS.
If you already knew St.Albans has a second ground away from pokies / alcohol than you would know that it won’t be an issue if playing at Kings Park isn’t allowed on Sundays.
Errington has recently had a million dollar redevelopment and is probably the better of the two grounds for junior matches.
St.Albans have two grounds. Kings Park Reserve (where the pokies are) and Errington Reserve. Historically Errington is where junior matches are played and it has recently been redeveloped…so no problem if playing at Kings Park on a Sunday is an issue.
