I can’t imagine any team trading a 2025 pick for a 2027 pick, unless they know they have F/S or academy players I guess? Picks two years in advance will be used for player trading and all it’ll do is make players more expensive
Twomey’s phantom draft isn’t draft rankings/recruiters consensus though, he’s just collating information he’s been given about who clubs are interested in. Like claiming Pedlar wasn’t a reach is just a lie

“For Adelaide fans, Isaac Cumming and James Peatling won’t be suspended from the start of the season. They’re not facing suspensions.”
Pick 3 part of a trade for Houston? They were only willing to give up one of their picks in the teens for him. Houston to Carlton has well and truly sailed
The club insinuated the rebuild was done at the end of last season and throughout the preseason, after 0-4 though the messaging changed to a lot of “we’re still a very inexperienced side” lol
Given the quality of some of our 100+ gamers I’d be hoping for a few less than 10
Walker 278 games
Smith 262 games
Laird 247 games (wishful thinking)
Neal-Bullen 176 games
Crouch 158 games
Keays 136 games
Dawson 131 games
O'Brien 121 games
Murphy 115 games
Fogarty 102 games
It could very, very easily be the breaking of him too (as a crows player anyway). Being treated like that by senior players, coaches and officials is unforgivable and I wouldn’t be surprised if he plays with little enthusiasm or vigour as long as he remains at our club (unless said senior...
You’ve been doing the exact same thing all week claiming Cumming is a done deal as well??? Why are you taking it so personally that Luko might not be fond of us lol
Not sure I’d be putting much weight on his coaches votes this year
10 votes vs North
4 votes vs WC
5 votes v Saints
His stagnant, stat padding game style means he’s arguably worse at half back than he is in the middle, he seems completely incapable of creating meaningful attacking play...
I’m not as hot on Crouch, but to my (and many others) eyes, Laird’s experience is not only useless but a complete detriment to the team, in regards to both output and attitude. I cannot see how playing alongside him benefits any of our younger players
Playing Laird and Crouch didn’t help us win in the current year either? Of course playing the kids helps us for the future, that’s what a proper rebuild entails lol
