StBMT and AJAX last year takes the bacon for me, i can see how some people may view the u/19s game as being better however this game was played at an extreme pace, the hardness and physical pressure was huge, any team was in it with 10 minutes to ago, and i can confidently say the skill level...
St.B.M.T got up by 25 odd goals, their percentage actually dropped nearly a point from this, probably i spose because they didn't win by another 30-40 goals. Old Paradians may think that they're not to bad considering. However, Tigers had 5 boys up in the seniors yesterday and another couple out...
For your information, as the St Bedes 19s won the flag in (3)- they immediately are moved up a division, which puts them into div. (2). Before the season had started, this was after the practice matches, after easily accounting for 3 sides, which included a contender in div (1), they lodged a...
Unbeleivable, that you say that this game wasn't played in the wet. Rained all through the reserves game and then started raining again throughout the second quarter and the half time break also. The middle of the ground was a mud heap aswell, due to the WET cricket wicket. If you seriously...
Re: Millewa Football League
Hi There-
Not long ago moved to Melbourne from Gol Gol, would somebody be able to inform me on how Golly will go this year. Still have alot to do with the club and the town, but haven't heard much lately.
Cheers sF
Was at Brindisi Street to watch St. Bedes and MHSOB, one word would describe Melbourne High - terrible.
MHSOB were absolutely discraceful, and had enough trouble just getting the pill out of their backilne with atleast 20 turnovers in the opposing 45, for the match. Scoreboard showed it with...
Just for the record Big Pineapple and to keep me at rest, are you as developed over there in Keilor as to picking up some television satellite in your neighbourhood or do you walk around with the radio in the back pocket and your head fair up your arse.
From previous posts i have gathered...
How do you think St. Bedes will go this Saturday up agaianst St.Kevins?
Still a couple of injuries at the moment for the Tigers, however i beleive, when they do have all players back that they will be hard to beat all year with their best side on the park. SP
What's happening also, is that Football Victoria and the body corporate of all local areas in the Melbourne suburbs, are meeting to discuss the 07 season for junior football. If there is not enough rainfall before March, the juniors season will be split into halve, meaning that there would only...
Can anyone tell me also, what they thought of AJAX losing the C Section Grand Final by a point after once leading by 47 in the 2nd term...
I get around and see alot of Ammos games and i just happened to be there on that day, Gee they choked bad. (Sorry, i couldn't find the C Section thread) Chreers
Did you see A Grade seniors or reserves matches, after all scribe you were probably in the showers for the majority of the 1s game, after running around in the 2s that day....
Went and watched the A Grade Granny (Haileybury and Xavs). Even though the weather wasn't too flashy at times, the game didn't really interest me with regard to the atmosphere, skill level and the whole quality of the day and game from both sides. I definately think that with the St.Bedes list...
What do we think AJAX will be serving up at theie Presentation night for dinner...Spit Roast?
One thing for sure is that there will be enough cups to drink out of this Friday at SBMT Pres. night -- 3 of those being silver ones!...Bad Luck Jackas - Have a good night.
Was reading through previous threads, and couldn't help but notice this guys comments. Little did he think about AJAX, he didn't even give the Tigers a chance...
'QUOTE: The Tigers are in for some tough times and we don't need guys like you pumping up the tyres at this time of the year. NOBS...
Reagarding the Kinsella Maghamez matchup, i beleive he kicked no more than 2 or 3 on Kinna..Maghamez kicked a few in the first quarter and then Kinna was moved onto him..
Clearly beat him, getting into his head and taking him totally off his game, to the point where Maghamez totally lost it...
Surely 'demonbob' you can give Bevo some credit, instead of ignoring the fact of him coaching a senior side to a Grand Final and winning it, and secondly watching over the 19s and reserves, whilst training them at the same time twice a week..
Surely mate you can give the bloke some...
Scribe, you say that you beleive that it gives you more reason to shadow Tim (AJAX coach) over Bevo with regard to the quality of individual sides..
Surely with flags to the reserves and the 19s, this just proves the amount of work which Bevo has put, training, recruiting etc. You go on the...
Scribe, I must say that i have enjoyed the majority of your work, regarding match summaries etc...But I am bitterly dissapointed that you ended it with such a 'dodgy' wind up. Getting things such as when incidents happen, players and the spelling of their name, the score at different stages and...

Anstey has 39 touches and M. Wintle picked up 37.
I thought no-one really from AJAX stood out in the last half of the game, when the going got tough for them.
