Well it's been four seasons since my last post but this week I feel compelled to get back on board (so to speak). Whilst the journey has been long and arduous it's also been fulfilling and character-building.
Well done to all at the Centrals for sticking together through thick and thin.
Good...
Re: D4 Section Ammos
What the hell are you on about Thai Boy? You are obviously feeling a bit under the weather after Mr Richmond Central last night!
Your comments about St Marys are ridiculous - we must face up to the facts and admit that we were taught a lesson by a better team. Coming...
Re: D4 Section Ammos
Well done Manny for showing some real G&D in getting the club up and running through the tough times.:thumbsu:
All the best for the upcoming season and looking forward to a beer after the game.
Re: D4 Section Ammos
No way... definitely keep them in D4. Give us a chance to extract a bit of revenge on them this season!
Seriously though, Richmond Centrals have been through tough times... but we keep fronting up for the challenge. Surely they can show a bit of heart and get things...
Danny Hickey was Reserves coach at Old Westbourne last year and has come over to Richmond Centrals as senior coach for 2007. He is doing a terrific job and has the respect of everyone at the club. In terms of players coming across from Westbourne though; at this stage there is only one player...
Re: D4 Section Ammos
At the VAFA members meeting last night all clubs were informed that the season WILL start on 14th April. It's up to the clubs to inform their players and it's up to the VAFA to worry about the rain falling.
Spy1 is dead right... Situations like this is where the VAFA...
Re: D4 Section Ammos
I've noticed a few posts on the BigFooty forums about this; mainly having a bit of a whinge about it. I guess it's not an ideal scenario but it won't be too hard to comply with for most clubs.
We don't have a phone line (let alone a computer) at our club, but it is...
Re: D4 Section Ammos
I really don't think I should honour that with a response. Why don't you come down to training; show us your stuff and we can see how big of a hero you actually are? What's the point of your incessant club bashing? Come down and help us turn it around. It's a big challenge...
Re: D4 Section Ammos
Wow, Spy you certainly do know your stuff! :D Interesting reading.
Good luck to Box Hill North for this season. At this stage our Punt Road game is scheduled for the clash against BHN - the general consensus among many down at KB Reserve is that Box Hill North is a well...
Re: D4 Section Ammos
Danny is doing a terrific job as senior coach and you're probably aware that he has brought his son Oden with him down to the Centrals. As far as I'm aware though, he is the only Westbourne player that has come across. Danny's a very honourable bloke and has made a...
Re: D4 Section Ammos
Your spies appear to be on the money On the Full. Numbers at training for the Centrals have been excellent so far, with over 50 players showing up at least once and averaging 30 plus at each session.
Hard to see them not winning the flag in 07!
Re: D4 Section Ammos
I've played in a side where we had a jumper clash with the opposition before and we wore different jumpers. It didn't make much of a difference at all. And after we've run to Elsternwick to pick up the jumpers as Barry suggested fatigue will not be a factor!
It's no big...
Re: D4 Section Ammos
Hi RFS,
At the risk of sounding like someone churning out cliche after cliche, the Richmond Centrals would simply be looking to find the best possible fit for the club. That person may well have senior experience but undoubtedly there are some candidates without senior...
Re: D4 Section Ammos
Considering you love a roughy JP, I reckon you should come down to Richmond Centrals for a kick in '07. The food at the canteen is hard to beat, especially when served up by the lovely Tina; our resident Chinese canteen staff member!
In all seriousness though, we do have...
I'm a sports mad /AFL mad Melbournian who's just moved up to Sydney and I think it's great that the Storm are in the mix. There's nothing better than getting stuck into these arrogant Sydney people and beating them at their own game. To make it even better, I'm working in the St George heartland...
