All are valid points that have been floated, but we are losing the top kids to Sydney and elsewhere anyway, so they are not here with the clubs that developed them and therefore lost to the BDAFL.

I would say City had at least a dozen local juniors in their side as well, so maybe some of those quick to want to initiate a points system should instead concentrate on developing their own as a start as this system might in fact not have the desired effect everyone thinks. Interesting case...
