Forget about 1989 Grand Final did you?
Dippierdomenico - broken ribs, punctured lung
Brereton - broken ribs, kidney
Lucky Trac didn't do his spleen against your mob... Ginni and crew would've rushed for a selfie whilst he was being loaded into the ambulance. Jog on W⚓️
Completely agree... great midfielder, but 3x Brownlow Medallist Lachie Neale just ain't right. He'd be a lock Hall of Fame Legend too if that was the case, and he really isn't fitting of being an AFL Legend
As a lover of the game... hope he doesn't. Would love to plonk him into our goal square though. Would just about take him over anyone else in competition right now.
A couple of 2021 WEG customs I made in Illustrator and Photoshop using some of his actual work as a guide. The great mans work was moving towards more colour when he did his last couple, so I assumed that by 2021 they would have been full colour.
With Carlton there was a link to Ian Collins who was involved at Carlton and Docklands. Can't remember the ins and outs of it all, but that's my recollection
I had this argument with an old Hawthorn supporting mate many moons ago (whilst both players were still running around)... who was the better number one draft pick with the better career.
Nick Riewoldt OR Luke Hodge
He'd always revert back to premierships... I'd always revert to the better...
Long time bump once again... does anyone have decent resolution images of 1989/1994/1995 Geelong's? I've looked everywhere online and haven't had much luck in finding them. Thanks :-)
How is it arrogance "wanting Gawn to continue to be the main ruck"? He is the best ruckman in the competition by a long long way on his day (irrespective of English being named AA). If you've got the best ruckman, why would you play him 70% out of the goal square?
It is an experiment that...
Not football... but this is probably the best call I've ever heard.
Rodney Hogg whilst playing district cricket for Waverley-Dandenong in 1989 played against a young blonde-haired leg spinner. The kid dominated, and Hogg kept him in the memory bank. When that kid got selected for Victoria a...

1958 was one of our most dominant seasons in that period, finishing three games clear on top of the ladder. Beat eventual premier in the home and away season, and...
All these Doggies supporters preaching "Oh, it's not a good look for the game", "think of the brain", blah blah blah.
You know what is a worse look for the game and probably worse for the brain? The bloke he dumped on his arse racking up and doing nose beers.
Where was the Doggies outrage then???
3-5 weeks, yet the bloke he hit was caught engaging in an illegal activity, and only got 2 weeks? You kidding!?
Should be given a medal for putting him on his arse.
