Re: 2010 Geelong Dream Team and SuperCoach questions thread
Thoughts on Mackie spending more time minding players in the backline rather than running with the ball? He did a good job stopping some key forwards last year, and if he focuses more on that in 2010 it will affect his scoring output...
I doubt that. Its likely you will get an injury (meaning you will trade), and given you have already made one trade, most likely another 2 this week, then another one next week - it seems you are trigger happy! You will have made 8 trades by round 8 i am tipping.
Sandilands is not a "very good mark". Ill say it again for such a tall man, he should dominate in marking contests. If you compare him to Simmonds over the past four years, sandilands has performed pretty terrible.
Sandi
Year - Marks - Games - Ave per game
2005 - 74 - 18 - 4.1
2006 - 96...
Sandilands is a pretty terrible mark! For such a big bloke you would expect much more link up marking - but he doenst know how to catch the ball! And yes, 97 points is killing me
Stupid way to go.
Firstly try and find thre rookie rucks that you are fairly confident will play.
Secondly, why waste your time with a rookie ruck on the field compared to a rookie mid/fwd on the field as they tend to score far better?
Finally, the money rise will be far greater from a...
The guy is so highly rated through his high draft pick that everyone expects so much of him. In terms of that, he's definitely failed. If he was picked at 40+, no one would really comment, but given the 'waste' of a trade at pick 4, you would expect more. But he hasnt delivered since, and i...
Seeing there is no genuine thread for the backline - chad trade, thought it would be good to whip one up. Im sure many people will be in different situations here, as some people will have the top backs (i.e. mackie, fisher, bock, shaw etc), or at least a couple of them, and then some wont...
Dont know what to make of this, but what the hell is on with this? This bloke is saying cross is injured - source afl website http://www.afl.com.au/tabid/208/Default.aspx?newsid=60957
...Doc, I've been waiting for Travis Tuck to get back on the park after his great start to the season. How far...
People can be so easily convinced with what other people say. Someone could write up something similar about mcleod, gilbee, or even gram for that matter, and everyopne will be buying him. Its funny to see how a 'convincing' write-up can sway a decision. Watch fishers % of votes increase now!
Though id start a thread with guessing the top 5 dt'ers this year in terms of total points for each position. I guess, if you have all the top 5 in each position from the start, then you've probably won it (thats if you can afford it :D). Oh, only top 3 for rucks...
Here's my thoughts

I hate it when people say this cr*p. Didnt someone get told it would open last week, and another bloke was told another day. So reliable.
It opens when it opens. Geez.
By the way, when it does i will be holding the number 1 position from start to finish :D. $50k coming my way.
Having a keen interest in Walker, i was wondering where he is at at the moment. I know there is a player thread, however that hasnt been updated in yonks, and there is little news on carlotnfc.com.au in terms of injury. Why hasnt he played any NAB games and why was he sitting along side Judd on...

Yeah Cain Ackland, should be one of the top ruckmen this year. Jump on. Also look at Simon Presti from Collingwood, should do better now without injuries and Clement away ;)
