Yes, my three step daughters and their families are all one eyed Carlton and very sad to see Bam Bam go, he seems a really good team first player. We were sad to see Daniels and Macrae move on to, footy can be such a ruthless business.

Correct, sorry I was looking at the list of players selected in the top 10, and these were all players from other clubs, with the exception of Clark who looks like a bust.

It probably didn’t help that Alberti and Gordon had a fairly public spat, which would have torn players loyalties.

Well when you think about it, the Bulldogs are the founding mother of the AFLW, go forth and play my children. I am getting excited about the next gen Bulldogs, which will be a much more sustainable successful team then in 2018.

I was on WOOF years ago, but there was a particularly aggressive poster who wouldn’t hear any alternative POV and was quite personal in his attacks. Told me I was too emotional (he meant too female), funny because football can be pretty emotional, judging by the posts on here after a loss. :eek:

It wouldn’t be the Bulldogs if we are not seeing former players winning the Brownlow (Conti), or losing players for nothing to teams who buy their success, reminiscent of the late 70s circa. 🤔

I hate to say it, but where is the leadership at the club? We desperately need Moz back, he was always good at being able to put an arm around and straighten out any wayward player, who does that for us now? I really, really want Marra to succeed, not just for us, but for himself, his family...

2021 we did ok, but ran out of legs in the last half of the game. Considering the shite we had to go through to get there after the Brisbane time keeping error saw us drop to fifth when we should have been fourth, it’s not really surprising, but I enjoyed the finals series up until then.

The only “wacky” experiment I can remember was putting Woody down to full forward, it only lasted two or three games.

We played them twice that year, won by a point and lost by a point the next game. Played Collingwood in a big final at the G, my first final, it was amazing.

All valid points, but the unique case for Libba has his father, a heavy weight Brownlow medalist with the club, and no doubt still has some pull and influence, to get his son back on the right track. If memory serves, he served his penance on a building site.
