Who runs in each time trial ? Did freijah run in the one that took place today ? And Kennedy run in the day 1 time trial ?
It would've just been based on who was training at the time but unsure why Luke Kennedy wasn't available to complete the initial time trial with the younger group.

Last week was the 1st-4th players (and senior players who returned early) whereas today was everyone who hadn't previously completed it.

Nice , was just wondering how he compared to freijah but that’s very impressive from young Kennedy

Maybe he wanted tougher competition :p

Luke Kennedy winning todays 2km time trial and just like that I’m slotting him in on a wing for round one.
He did indeed run a great 2km time. Was also only a small group running the 2km today. Was just the rookies, and those senior players who had an extra week off.

Good signs if Kennedy and Freijah are leading the way in both trials.

Seems like a bit of a "Hynes has replaced Sniff"
It's interesting given it's essentially a direct swap in terms of the draft compensation we received.

If Hynes ends up turning into a very good player, we'll never have to hear about that trade deal ever again (or being on the wrong side of it).

We got Hynes and Matt Kennedy for Sniff and a pick in the 40s.

I think we will find we ended up ahead.

True. Then you can rationalise it as Kennedy for Macrae and Hynes for Sniff.

Hynes doesn't seem like a knucklehead with a pea brain. That's already ahead.
To be fair, neither did Smith when he was drafted - or at least I didn't think so.

It’s amazing how the church going boy who had never touched alcohol changed…
A cautionary tale for us as we applaud the drafting of "good types".

It's still worth having those good types but it doesn't come with a long-term guarantee.
