Just watching the reply of the post games interviews on 7+ after being at the game yesterday. Couple of things were so good - Oscar speaking - then Hamish speaking so positively about Fagan and about how anyone who knows him understands what a great bloke he is and also the Berry interview when...
One of the most wonderful days ever! So many lions fans going nuts and the atmosphere after the game incredible. Special day. If training was huge - watch out Brunswick street oval tomorrow.
Just home - what an amazing turn up to the Captains Run - truely awesome. Thought there was going to be a lot of supporters when I saw the massive queue for supporters lined up to get into the G - but supporters were all on level 1. it went from the behind post on right hand side Punt road...
Ended up signing out of the whole account and going back in and mine is there- mine has remember me on it -so clicked that off and they appeared when I signed in.
Swans website says theirs is on 12.30 with entry via gate 1 and finishes at 1.15pm - seems strange we then come out at 1.30 as Swans will have lots of supporters watching them. Training normally down the City end so unless we’re up the Punt Road end?
Do we know if the Punt Road training session tomorrow will be open to the public? Know we have the Caps run on Friday at 1,30pm at the G. (Swans have their Caps at 1.30pm Friday at the G - will be interesting getting supporters in and out - last year we were there 30 mins before it started...
Yeh Fages! Wow that’s so deserved! Can’t imagine the pressure he’s been under with all the Hawthorn racism issues - that alone is such a challenge to weave your way through when you can’t answer those allegations in public - let alone contend with the pressure of being an afl coach...
Exactly - had single ticket back row with Collingwood standing room behind so close that when the bloke behind me put his arms out and leant over he touched the back of my seat, i could hardly see a thing and relied on the screen. That was P1 - have P1 this time but level 1 goals so fingers...
We must have had the other type - on the way home on the Ringwood train, would have thought I was on some silent mediation train with way the Cats fans were - most amusing as they didn’t even speak to each other - all squashed in. Lions supporters lots of smiling to each other. Fabulous.
Wow that was one of the best games of footy I have been too! Sitting in bay 12 down the front with lions supporters and the cats bay next to us going the stand up and pointing to us. Then watching them leave in the last minute. Best atmosphere at the end of the game - so many Lions...
I must have been sitting near you! - same priority one - September member since inception- back row with Collingwood supporters behind and tricky seeing anything at times. Others who had priority 2 had much better seats. I think it’s just lucky what seats you get in the end despite what...
Have to strongly disagree. Fagan for the most part has enormous respect from most of the Victorian media. No doubt because of his time at Hawthorn. Lewis and Hodge who are part of the media down here, speak of him so respectively. Fagan is questioned at times often by Cornes and King...
