The under 17's premiership coach from 2012 was appointed 19's coach but later accepted the senior job at Craigieburn. A suitable replacement was appointed over the cup weekend.

Morang had 5 really strong candadates put in for the senior gig including last years coach but Anthony got the nod.

South Morang appointed Anthony McGregor from Bundoora during the week. I believe Creek kept the same coach talking to someone from Creek last night.

Around 80 odd on the track tonight which included about 6 of the blokes who left Mernda to play at Violet Town. Best the numbers have been in years at Morang for this time of year.

South Morang had the bye in divvy 3 so 2 grounds were available there both in very good nick and if the council or league were worried about the load on the main ground the junoir ground is big enough to accomodate senior footy. On a different issue has anyone from divvy 2 seen Panton Hills...
