Not much news on any of the div 2 coaching positions for next season.
Thomo are the only club i know of that have re-appointed there coach from 2011.
Any news on any new coaches or any other re-appointments from 2011??
Any player movements yet?

South Morang appointed Anthony McGregor from Bundoora during the week. I believe Creek kept the same coach talking to someone from Creek last night.

After seeing the side that South Morang had this year, anybody could have had the same success as the old coach.
Also from talking to a few players that I know, there never were specific game plans going into any game and I was told the players virtually tuned the coach out and coached themselves once out on the park.

Things definitely looking up at the Kennel with a few key signings to bolster the onfield group. With 99% of players recommitted for next year and some extra depth added we should be tough to beat.

To top it off North Heidelberg have today won one of the Boag's Draught Ambassador's Promotion prizes landing a cool $10,000!!

A great way to end 2011 after a tough year! A big thanks to Boag's Draught who have been fantastic in their support of local footy!

That's why by the time the 3rd quarter came round, if they were down, they pumped themselves up. Only lost 2 games in 2011 by 5 points only.

Yeah have to aggree with you there, Drop Dead Fred, but I think because the couch was so lay back, the team actually became better players for having to think as a team, and work things out as they went along. The job of a coach is to teach/instruct the players on how to get better/improve their game not to sit back and hope the players work things out.
If South Morang didn't have the group of older experienced guys they would have struggled.
From what i was told from people in the know, they lost to panton hill, simply because the big ruckman from panton hill was allowed ran around for the majority of the day without an opponent.
Sometimes (if not all) a coach needs to spot hot players and make moves so as to try to shut them down.

Photo - how was he betrayed? Was he promised the job before they hired the new coach?
Also from all reports there was no plan a, let alone a plan b.

Really. You really have no idea about coaching or the person. Anyway you beleive whatever helps you sleep well at night:mad::mad::mad::mad:

Anyone who intends to apply for a coaching position at Morang needs to do their research, they eat their own,good luck Mr McGregor! They won a D3 premiership, what game plan do you need??? for this Divi... just more experienced players that the opposition and you win a flag, that is the game plan.

You seem to have a bit to say about most clubs in all divisions always happy. You have never been accurate with anything you have said about South Morang, i can only hope you're a bit more on the money with the other clubs you slander.
