Re: Changes for Round 20 @ Adelaide
if we're playing for the win and only the win...
out masten, brown
in fletcher spangher
if we're playing to blood younger players...maybe ryan davis/ash smith in for masten instead of fletcher. if spang is injured, then emac in and vice versa.
not a gun in my mind, but a very consistent and quality player.
a good find at the end of the season. i find him to be a very 'neat' player.
keeps running, needs to finish off with goals. he's missed some gettable ones.
impressed with him overall though.
rising star nom.
agree, he gets beaten in EVERY (every!) contest he's involved in. never gets a fist in and has no heart whatsoever.
i personally would prefer hansen over spangher.
im interested in knowing what exactly melbourne fans have against west coast?
is this some sort of richmond/carlton thing where both teams were so shit that the only thing to hang their hats on were that player X > player Y?
these high draft picks have gone to everyone's heads.
torn abs along with a broken leg? this guy has had wretched luck.
he seems to be highly rated amongst the coaches/spangher, so i cant wait to see him on the field next year.
my team's young player X >>>> all your teams young players put together!
houlihan was drafted in 2006, debuted last year and is from victoria.
i thought swift didnt go too badly on the weekend, he's hardly AFL ready. in an ideal situation we'd have him debuting around the end of next year...
i think we should aim to win at least 2 of those 3.
if we play like we did on the w/e we'll lose all 3. but we're a better team than that (at times) and i think we can finish off the season somewhat strongly to at least gain some confidence going into next year.
hopefully we can knock essendon...
if we win, i hope we dont celebrate. we have been so so poor. as have they.
i dont know how to feel watching this game, playing so shit and still only losing by 3 points.
what i want to know is how we can be so caught out after fremantle have a kick in after a behind...
pretty sure they got goals 2 times directly from kick ins where we just had no one back and they'd share it and score. just unaccountable.
tom swift has heaps of talent, just needs to add some composure. it looks like he thinks he's playing against WAFL players whom he is a class above. we just have to get all the games we can into him.
ebert has been decent, along with masten. if we can be more efficient going inside F50 we'd win...
who else here likes paddy mcginnity? i reckon he adds something we dont have much of: pace, agression and tackling power.
like mitch browns will to take the game on...but its sold him into trouble often, i'd rather see him taking the risks though i guess.
