Here's a very quick mockup from a thought I had. The T in the negative space, the dual lines on either side - somewhat to represent the two cities, but wanted lines on both sides. Not sure if I like the pattern being in the green, but ideally would be very subtle.

It was originally made to match the current logo at the time (and away guernsey) and obviously to keep uniformity across the guernseys. I do agree that with the new navy shading on the logo, it will look much better.
