I don't want add too much to this discussion as my viewpoint is clear from previous posts, but I do agree on the FA fliers element being minimized (but the draft aspect seems fine to me, especially since you can parlay it into good development/team contracts). However, my beef with the FA issue...
Thanks for the observation. You are right that max moves helps against streaming and in this circumstance renders max games to a secondary factor. There is a correlation between max games and streaming as it acts as a deterrent, you can't just beat people based on how many games played, making...
I'm happy with the rules as they are, although I am not the biggest fan of the max moves limit. Roto is all about balance and that extends to maximum games played...who can fare best in 9 categories with their 820 (or 660) games? I have always seen it as pretty standard and not much of an issue...
We've all been waiting for this moment with bated breath...
Team Contracts
Andrew Bynum - $8,000,005
Michael Beasley - $3,000,004
Development Contracts
Ty Lawson - $1,250,000
Joakim Noah - $2,250,000
Risky to give a team contract to a guy who is historically guaranteed to miss 25%...
Hey guys, sorry for the slowness :o
I'm around, just team contracts are proving difficult...I got a few FAs, if you need them asap I can do it no trouble but I'd rather see where a couple of them end up.
Developments are going to Ty Lawson ($1,250,000) and Joakim Noah ($2,250,000).
So I'm done! Started with a lot of cheap contracts from last season and tried to get players to fill in category needs. Led to me overpaying each auction round as I had $ to spend. The positive is that I got what I wanted but the negative is that team contracts for next season might be tricky...
Not a fan of that idea (for this season), I feel everyone knows how much they can spend and have bid accordingly.

Has something changed in the roles of Scarlett and Taylor? The reason I ask is because Scarlett is averaging 95 in Supercoach while Taylor is averaging 64.75 (subbed off Rd 3 but he wasn't scoring well anyway). For reference, Scarlett averaged around 70 last year while Taylor averaged around 87...
Here's the Sunday Mail article:
Worth reading the whole article.

Ricky Nixon :o
The girl is a nutcase but seriously, what an idiot Nixon is. Has admitted he has visited her three times, bringing alcohol once. Leaving her hotel at 7:15am...doesn't look great for Nixon.
Best show on TV. The Flu edges out The Camel and Hunting Trip as my favourite episode. Best moment for me was Leslie forgoing using a fork in her desperation to eat waffles. Amy Poehler is a bit of a genius.
