I just got off a flight from Perth to Melbourne which had Darcy Tucker and Sam Collins from fremantle on it.
Conventional wisdom suggests that it is a couple of victorians coming home to visit after the freo bnf last night .....
An alternative, more exotic school of thought could be that they...
I hope that Ross Lyon never coaches another win as much as the next bloke ....... but it prudent to remember that Milney would have played his last game at the Saints in 2006 if it wasn't for Ross Lyon - fact.
I don't think it was experimental at all ..... I am pretty sure the club sees him as a midfielder in the 'Ryan O'Keefe' mould who is good above his head and pushes forward and kicks goals - brief spells leading out of the goalsquare, but predominately a tall winger / midfielder.
Firstly, I never said it was a management contract that he was signing - how the hell would I know what he was signing? All I saw was him signing a signatory page which had pages stapled to the front - Generally a good indicator of a 'contract'.
Secondly, no skin off my nose mate - take it or...
I saw Dustin Martin signing a stack of papers (looked like contracts of some description) @ pillar of salt (cafe in Richmond) last week. The guys who was with him was mid - late 40's and he had a terrible toupee.
Bump
24yr old now, 76 games and in the prime of his career. CHB / Full Back with thumping pinpoint disposal on either foot.
Credit to himself and just shows where hard work can get you
I have to say that I was a bit unsure about what to expect when SOS joined our coaching panel, mainly because I thought he was utterly useless in giving special comments when commentating. However, he has superpassed expectations to the point where I think he will be seriously considered for the...
There is a bloke named Sam Gilbert who would easily take this mantle but because he wasn't a top 5 pick doesn't get the big hype. I would have him in a heartbeat over Hansen
Just out of interest, it is one thing to say your very reliable source close to the bombers would know that the Saints will trade Dal for pick 5 ..... but how the hell would the same source (close to the bombers remember) know what the Saints will do with that pick?
Picking Shane Birss would not have made one iota of difference last night.
Fiora is crap, Birss is crap ..... get some bloody perspective people.
The only reason I would have been happy for Birss to be picked last night is because it would have been amusing to see Chance Bateman turn...
Its too bloody expensive ..... as much as i'd give my arm and a leg to see the saints in the big dance, i've already dropped over 300 bux in the first 3 weeks of finals (a couple of $12 dim sims included)
No to Nathan Thompson.
The Saints should be looking at Cambell from Freo or Tim Boyle from Hawthorn. But I would prefer that we groom Jarryd Allen for the FF post for next year and draft a KP prospect
Couldn't agree more .... if I was cheering it was for the intensity of the tackle and the intent - littl' burkey and brett cook were on and it set the scene for the rest of the match - the kangas didn't have a sniff after that
This may be slightly off the topic ..... but as I watched Kosi get reported, it got me thinking about the rule that if a player gets reported it is automatically a 50m penalty to the other team. Is that a rule or did I dream that up because the umpires give it sometimes but not others. If...
Jack Steven ...... in and under player with good hands, bottom age selection in last years draft - served a full year apprentice with the scorps. Think a young Paul Chapman
he hasn't finished, thats the whole point he is playing on Saturday night in a Semi Final and your big argument is MAYBE gibbs will play in a premiership one day - i'd be concerned trying to make the finals first.
Look it's all fun and games, but getting back to the OP - can you honsetly tell...
