Theres almost an unwritten rule that traded in players get an early call up, so not surprised to see Oskar playing... that said, he was actually pretty good in the NM praccy match.
Fritsch and May have dominated us in a recent years. To have them out is a huge loss for Melbourne and I see it...
Plus the many other quotes... 10 out of 10 for biggest sooky la la tonight!
After reading through this entire thread, it is clearly poorer for your so called input. Are you generally this dull, or just when it comes to the Bulldogs?
At his peak, I don't think I've seen a more dominant/dynamic midfielder. I hate everything non Bulldogs, but I still recall on a few occasions standing and clapping Judd in pure awe.
That said, he's no Bont :-D
My deepest commiserations to you all for losing such an exciting, talented and charismatic fella, well before anyone had ever hoped or expected.
I generally have zero interest in other teams/players, but Tippa had me excited like a kid from day one. He played footy the right way and embodied...
Morris is a known f(ktard and antagonist of the dogs and invited the retort with his most recent commentary. Watch any press conference, Beveridge is always very measured when he speaks.
Hard to take anything you say seriously when you claim Bont was “gifted” votes. Every count has players mouth’s aghast as votes are given or not. Just ask Oliver. You’re dreaming if you believe all of Wines votes were deserved while other players votes weren’t, pfft!!
Personally I was expecting Oliver to win, had a massive year. So dominant and so consistent, such a great player. Would love him at the Dogs.
Walsh was awesome this year. Given the lack of Blues wins, to vote as high as he did was super impressive. Future Brownlow winner in the making. Steele...
You can say the same about any award. Bont's BOG 3 Brownlow votes are far superior to any other 3 votes. How can it be structured or balanced to place more weight on such performances? Personally I think the Ayres Medal/Coaches votes method gives a good starting point.
Blah blah blah!
If in fact there’s any semblance to truth to your “story”, you probably came off as someone who’d squeal running off to the footy forums in horror… which you did. Pfft!
Ummm, what? Pretty simple viewpoint. Dees were ultra impressive, not sure how that equates the Bulldogs performance as significantly worse, or even "boring" without it simply being a subjective viewpoint. In that case, as a Dogs supporter I was subjectively ****ing beyond excited!!
And...
Equal parts proud and gob smacked. Was beyond excited when Martin came into the lineup. Bring in Weightman and Keith and we're a shot. Dee's were awesome last night however. Will be a cracker GF.
Without reading the entire Bulldogs' faithful response to finding out Keith won't make it to the line.... I thought I'd precariously add my thoughts....
First of all..... utterly devastated.... Keith is up there with the most important players in out team........... But with the inclusion of...
