    APS Season 2011

If you played footy you'd know most of them have been there since yr7...not all but most. I don't see how pointing out the number of tac players can be your argument for them giving scholarships, there's nothing to substantiate it.

    APS Season 2011

I'd argue 1 premiership in 30 years doesn't constitute domination of the competition. I'm pretty sure there is already a 'law' in place that is meant to stop the giving of scholarships for purely sporting reasons....obviously this law doesn't apply to the likes of caulfield, carey or geelong...

    APS Season 2011

I have a feeling you have misinterpreted the term 'sleeping giant'....speaking of digging, how's that hole going for you champ? @ in the square. You listed many players there, but not many of them are that game changing. Purcell probably the best but he has nothing on the likes of greene...

    APS Season 2011

Really? MGS are by no means a good side. They would have had scotch buried by half time if they were. Then to come out and say that they a) were the better side 'all' day and b) were much more deserving is quite frankly just reflection of your fundemental lack of knowledge. I'd argue that MGS...

Geelong Grammar, first APS football title since 1902?

JG13 you have no idea. GGS will no doubt be a strong side but losing all their star players (ie Smith) to Vic Country fixtures could really hurt them. Argurably their side was better last year and what that proved was that despite investing heavily in a few individuals, they could not counter...

    APS Yr 10, 2009

ilovefooty agreed. the 8a and 9a 'premierships' which you didnt even win convincingly aren't going to go very far when it comes to 1st 18 level geelong boys, so stop taking over this forum with your crap you spuds. I hope caulfield have a win tomoro, not only are they decent blokes on the field...

    APS Yr 10, 2009

xavier are by far the best side in the comp, however to say they beat sctoch comfotatably is going a little far. from what i hear it was only 13or so points with the game being sealed in the last minute, personally wouldn't call that comforatable after having been about 5 goals up and 3/4 time...

    APS Yr 10, 2009

If you agree with me why did you leave Gotch out of your top 10? The little freak got the call up this week to the ones, good luck to him hope he kicks a bag. Also where's Watts in that list? He's better than a number of those boys there. On Hunter, i think its a joke he's not in the state...

    APS Yr 10, 2009

jack paine is a gun, no doubt about it, but to say hal hunter doesnt come close to him is a big call. Hal is in my view the best in the aps at the moment, he already has a full season of 1st 18 footy under his belt and he is the only boy from year 10 who will not the overawed by the physically...

'Themaster123' you are the biggest tool ever to grace big footy. You have no idea you gimpshow. Everyone is so quick to jump on the xavier bandwagon but it has to be said. Golds makes that side. Keith is a gun too no doubt about that, but why does everyong talk up these other guys. Sure...

APS - 9A footy - who are the teams to watch?

gc vs scotch was a crap game of footy, geelong didnt play well and scotch were even worse. but on saturday scotch bounced back to be very good, big ned was good as was the destroyer furey and watts absolutly dominated. should be interesting this weekend with big names such as boonani and shane...

APS - 9A footy - who are the teams to watch?

Is anyone else seriously sick of xavier on this forum? get over yourselves. Golds pretty much is your team, Keithy is very hard at it and uses it well, but the funniest thing is that they're your best players and probably the best blokes too, so the rest of you hacks stop talking yourselves and...

APS - 9A footy - who are the teams to watch?

your a joke mate. clearly no idea. Plus scotch should be higher than Geelong College as they beat the by about 8 goals, whether gc are better at home or not will soon be found out. but atm they r equal if not better than xavier

APS - 9A footy - who are the teams to watch?

Scotch D Xavier! Simply the best 9a game of the season. Xaveir up by 3-4 goals at half time and Scotch came back in the third, albleit kicking poorly to only be down by 2 goals at 3/4 time. The final 1/4 was a ripper, scotch kicking 2 quick goals and game on. Scotch then kciked 1 more to end up...

APS - 9A footy - who are the teams to watch?

Scotch looking good this year. Currently 4-1 having lost to Caulfield by a goal in round 1. Knocked off big names such as MGS and Geelong College convincingly past 2 weeks. Massive game vs xavier this weeks, shapes up as game of the round. Scotch are an even side all around the ground. Is...
