Obviously they are a factor but in an ideal world they'd be neutral to the outcome of the game which isn't the case. I was merely explaining why people are so invested in umpiring decisions and why they react in the way they do.
Well obviously players have a much larger impact on the outcome of the game, but the umpires shouldn't be a factor at all. The fact that umpiring decisions are impacting the game is the issue when the umpires should merely reward or punish player actions. I understand everyone makes mistakes but...
I agree, there are worse players out there. I stated Dahlhaus because I see him as a player that can and should improve other than a player like Addsion who just shouldn't be playing and maybe a week or two in the twos will help him.
I'd expect him to kick more goals than last year though, he should be improving. If you take out his first two games, where I think he was playing at the desired level, he has kicked 5 in the last 10 games, surely that is not acceptable.
Haha rather big brain fade on my behalf there.
While his tackle pressure was good today he's only averaged 2.75 tackles for the season and has only kicked 10 goals. In my opinion if Wallis was dropped for form, so should Dahlhaus.
The only thing this story (If you can call it a story) is doing is giving attention to a WAG that really doesn't deserve it so, I'll leave her to her 15 minutes of fame and hope she enjoys it.
I don't understand people saying that the talent pool is diluted and that there are two many "nothing" games when this is the closest season I've ever seen in the AFL. Basically down to 13th on the ladder could make finals this year, and with the expansion clubs coming in we are starting to see...
Why people seem to come to the defense of Akermanis is confusing to me in this specific topic because no one is mentioning that Aker was having a horrible year and he had no excuse he wasn't injured he simply had lost his touch. As bad as johnson may have been playing aker was just as bad and to...
The Kangaroos are the one club that i thought would have respected the legends of the game. 1997 and 1998 played great games between the two clubs and i thought more respect is needed deepinsidefifty poor from you having a go at a bloke who's obviously injured and i admit shouldn't have been...
Harsh on Eade in my opinion, the players lost the game tonight as well as injuries
not helping. only players that gave a try were Griffin, Cross, Boyd, Murphy, Huddo, Lake and i thought williams tried hard. Eade probably had a poor night as coach but he brought us to prelims from nothing he...
it's only round 5 mate calm down, alot of posters on here are riding us off to early if u think carlton are really that good i can't see much difference between there two games before playing us and our last two games
Mate if the A league keeps expanding and and picking up members/supporters as it has recently it would be more of an investment than if you had to share the money with multiple shareholders at clubs like Man U. Don't underestimate the A league it has expanded alot more than the AFL and the NRL
Launceston for me
it's a Tassie team as long as it's based in tassie. dosen't matter if it's the capital or not.
and there's already been so much money spent on aurora stadium to just waste it on the state league.
