It’s a low bar but is Ricky Ponting the best commentator we have this summer? He’s the only commentator that I haven’t wanted to mute yet, and it’s really funny when he blatantly ignores stupid comments from the others.
Yes it’s the pick number. The last pick number with points is pick 54 which is nominally the last pick in round 3 before you add in bid matches and FA compo which will push out round 3. Round 4 selections may come back in on draft night if next year goes back to being a mid-50s draft haul, by...
That’s correct (roughly). The first night is for the first round only. There are currently 23 selections (all of which will be used) plus however many bid match selections get added, expected to be 4 (2 x Brisbane, 1 x Gold Coast 1 x Essendon). Whilst I do think we may look to move up the...
One thing to bear in mind is on draft night our picks will slide in quite a bit thanks to bid matching. Brisbane, Gold Coast and Essendon are turn about a dozen picks into 4 on the first night. So we’re possibly going start night two with our picks in the 40s and 50s rather than the 50s and...
Yeah I feel like that article will continuously be updated as lists get finalised ahead of the DFA and ND.
It’s possible we’ve signed Dean and not announced it yet which could cause him to be removed from that list, but it could also just as easily be an error.
I feel those guys have been left...
Apologies if this has already been discussed but according to SEN Long, McInness and Dean all remain out of contract. Surprised we are still leaving them in limbo.

So we’ve got 4 list spots in total still available which could be all senior list (you can have up to 38) or you could have 3 senior and 1 rookie or 2 + 2 by virtue of us having to upgrade a rookie if we only take 2 at the draft. I believe if we were to sign Tomlinson via the SSP he would go...
The thing with the points system is it’s only relevant when you need to match a bid for a F/S or Academy player (for example Brisbane who have one of each).
Otherwise it’s pretty much irrelevant.
I don't believe so at this stage, but I think he might be one of the many players around the league stuck in limbo through the trade period. Wouldn't surprise me though if they do delist him assuming they don't stuff up the Barrass deal, now that Battle has officially gone through.
Okay well of the top 10, 8 players played all 23 games, the two that didn't were Steele who played 22 and Pendles who played 20. Shoota played 20 games, the same as Pendles and, 2-3 less than rest of the top 10, and the games played matters when it comes to the Copeland count.
