interesting - it was pretty widely reported that hawks first offered 14 & f2 (with f3 coming back) - i guess all those journalists were wrong
i think most hawks supporters thought 14 & f2 was pretty fair from the start.....and that is pretty much where it ended, with effectively a late pick...
you like the fact the Eagles gave up pick 3 in the middle of a rebuild when they could have kept 3, taken 14 and f2 for barrass and traded 14 for baker?
from hawks perspective effectively pick 14 and F3?? so worse than our original offer of 14 and f2
well played, was always going to be f1 & f2, the rest is irrelevant
just a reminder...port got JHF for 10 & 20 i think?....and he was maybe 19 or 20 y/o
unbelievable trade period by the tiges....if they even get pick 6 alone for rioli....who is what 27? and a pretty handy half back flanker who can go missing for large parts of the season.....
good time to just mention - who in their right mind could possibly have imagined that we would be going in to an interstate semi final vs PA as raging favourites , while missing our FF, FB x 2 and arguably our best player in Day...less than 12 months after finishing 3rd last on the ladder...
yeah it can be pretty bad...usually takes a while to fully recover
id still bet he has sore ribs though, not sure what the point of hiding a virus would be, surely they would have just said he was sick?
yep - pick the best player, in the best form....jai has earned it, now take it with both hands fella, there is glory to be had!
if we are going to win, it will be through limiting their entries to our d50,....thats how we have won all year....
if we can't stop the entries.., then we will lose...
this team absolutely demolished the swans by 100 points a few weeks ago.....people have very short memories...one bad loss does not diminish their previous 8 weeks of exposed form
yeah that is ridiculous...people have very short memories, port took care of freo away in rnd 24 and absolutely demolished Sydney only a few weeks prior.....surely wont put out two terrible performanvces in a row....hawks missing our only key defender (who was huge against the bulldogs) plus...
holy jeezus - did dunkley really go for those picks!!?? that is wild
smith is definitely on Taranto's level, in fact, the way the game is being played today, i know who i would prefer....bulldogs were desperate for some outside run and carry vs the hawks...anything less than two first rounders...
