Or maybe Andrew Lovett board.
Only difference is Sylvia's girlfriend didn't place a restraining order on him, but Sylvia's story made the press whereas Lovett's didn't/hasn't yet.
Ted Whitten - captain of the Team of the Century, did great things for the game after his playing days.
Leigh Matthews - generally regarded as the best player of all time, also a very successful coach.
Wayne Carey - also regarded as one of the finest players and captains in history...
May I suggest a period of time, rather than one match?
The end of the 1998 season, as we began to build some momentum with a fit and talented squad, thumping teams at the MCG as we marched on to a Preliminary Final berth. Particularly when we beat trounced the Tigers and then we beat the...
Let's get the ball rolling again.
I had a ripper question yestersay, but I forgot.
Oh, now I remember. In Round 1, 2003, Brad Green kicked the winning goal with just over 1 minute left on the clock. Which Melbourne player passed the ball to him on the Great Southern Stand side?
Footy jumpers can only be worn to the footy and at training.
Footy shorts cannot be worn to the footy, but can be worn at training, when swimming or doing work in the backyard on a hot day.
Footy socks can be worn under pants any time, as long as they don't show.
Cameron Bruce at $61, think he might have dropped to $51.
If Buckley is $51 then that isn't a bad bet either.
I like Coughlan too. Koschitzke started at $61 but has dropped down to about $31.
2nd Qualifying Final, 2000 vs. Carlton
Going in to the match, the Blues were strong favourites and were the best team in the competition, bar Essendon. Predictably, Carlton took control of the match for the first three quarters and looked to be cruising towards a comfortable victory. But the...
The fact that we have been at the top or close to the top of the ladder in both 2004 and 2005 suggests that we can match it with the big boys. Hopefully, the addition of Pickett to the team and the general development of guys like Miller, Rivers, Ferguson, Carroll, McLean, Sylvia and Davey will...
I'd hope it would be your original grass roots club. These are the lifeblood of the game, they are the ones that introduce our kids into the world of football and they deserve something in return.
The TAC clubs are just a temporary stage in a footballers career, the springboard from junior...
Yeah exactly, that would be the major problem.
Last year we had problems with the 3-2-1. When we won, it was too hard to exclude players from the votes. When we lost, it was too hard to include players in the votes.
If you break it down further, 17 out of those 18 players are between 25-29 years old, with only David Neitz being 30+. So we aren't a team of veterans, but we do have a lot of experience. When these players begin to exit the game in 5 years time, our group of teenagers will be ready to take over...
This might be a bit difficult but I like the idea of giving each player a ranking out of 10 based on their individual performance, like what they do at St. Kilda. It's much fairer on the defenders and lesser established players who might do a good job but not get a 3-2-1 vote.
