I thought the same thing when I listened to Papley on his racing (?) podcast post the GWS final. While obviously a very different medium, he was much more articulate, thoughtful and open than I’d heard him previously.
ETA: I think Chad comes across as fun and energetic in his interviews...
Apologies if already noted somewhere in this thread, but not sure how we lose with these Katy Perry lyrics:
“Like thunder, gonna shake the ground”
“Louder, louder than a lion”
Has champion data taken this into account?
I suspect you are being deliberately obtuse, but their job is to get media interest in the Swans. They know what gets clicks and sells papers, and it’s not James Jordon, Jake Lloyd, Hayden McLean. I mean, I would click those links, but ‘people who post on BigFooty’ is a market they’ve got well...
I was surprised looking at the team the last time we played Port - Ladhams, Wicks, Fox, Francis, Corey Warner, Adams and Mills all played. Things will (hopefully) look quite different this weekend.
This is the real issue. There’s next to nothing to do before or after a game and it takes half the fun out of it imo. You’re basically left in a huge, empty sporting precinct with a handful of subpar bars/eateries. You can’t really walk anywhere, you’re either on the train or struggling to get...
I’m really glad they announced it early but it doesn’t give me great hope that he would be ready for the grand final. Can’t catch a break this year - shoulder, calf, gastro, hammy.

I feel compelled to respond to this because he looked really happy at the end of the game near the race, and was being very supportive of his teammates. No doubt he’s disappointed but everything that’s come out this week about his attitude has been really positive.
When Jake Lloyd is celebrating with the crowd, you know good things are happening. I was sitting in that pocket and loved it. Let the man have his moment!
I feel awful for Adams. Must have been a tough call and I hope Paps and Juzzy really are ready to go. I also love Fox (in the backline) but he’s struggled to nail down a spot this year. Love that Campbell’s kept his spot but if he’s in the back pocket again…
