Seems about fair.
Have only watched people play it but that’s where I’d sit in terms of the score.
Positives - story great, voice acting superb, environments are good and does well to compliment the indiana jones world in the nazi era. The side missions and commitment to those stories being...
And worth noting that last time Australia went to India they prepared very bowler friendly pitches and after being left out of the first test he was probably the best batsman in the side. (from memory)
Yep, even people born 80 or 90 years ago grew up in a different time and sometimes they’ll say something innocent that wasn’t considered racist in their time that (rightfully) wouldn’t be accepted today.
Happened the other day near me in a coffee shop and the barista was rightfully respectful...
I know we like positive here ‘slowly chipped away at their list and kept adding young talent’
Kind of false if we’re being honest. Have kept finishing bottom two therefore keep adding young talent.
While you’re quoting stats..
CCJ 22 games for 9 goals 😂
You could drop anyone of the right age group and able to kick a football into the forward line for 22 games and they’re probably bettering that ‘output’.
Why do our supporters do this to themselves?
Some of the comments on here 😂
He was absolutely horrible pre-injury with comical output to go with it. He had the turning circle of a cruise liner before the injury and has absolutely no ruck nous.
He is shit. Move on and stop trying to convince...
Combat looks comically easy, basic and dumb and the facial expressions (or lack thereof) aren’t great either. Probably my only criticisms from having watched the first few hours.
Half right. He remained absolutely shit away from home throughout his career. His record at home (except for the last few years) was amazing, he was just terrible away from home against good/decent sides.
They are the top two but don’t underrate Temple of Doom. Gets a bit of a negative wrap from some but it’s still a great film and easily the darkest of the series.
He’s legitimately scared of physical contact. He’s not setting an example for anyone outside of his aerobic endurance, which is in part due to his size. The fact you’re lauding a very limited and average footballer further emphasises why we have won 6 games in 2 years.
I’m sure Villa have had decisions go their way in the CL this season but the disallowed goal at the end was the wrong decision. Keeper came out quite far and jumped with the Villa player. On field decision was a foul so VAR was never going to overturn that though.
He’s not getting back on AFL list. Remember some people on the Phoenix Spicer thread (who is half the player Drury is) question the decision to delist him/imply he was AFL standard after he kicked a couple of cheap goals in the VFL.
Spicer was rubbish (scared of his own shadow for starters) and...
Not what I said/meant though. It’s more about the pile on when someone has a realistic evaluation about a player. Anything construed as negative is met with derision.
Reckon that would be a rarity though. I just wish there would be less pile on for people with doubts. Look at any thread and someone posts some overly optimistic and delusional analysis on the first few pages and it receives 40,000 likes. Probably the same on every team board on Big Footy though.
And? He said they had ‘achieved nothing’. Which they literally have by the most relevant metrics.
Arguing about competition is totally relevant when the individuals point was about achievement. By your measurements it’s impossible to achieve anything because any achievement is null and void...
Achieved nothing? Woke?
They won a world cup and a world test championship and are literally the number one side in the world.
Go to your maga/old man yelling at clouds convention.
Writing someone off = saying it was an ‘early call’, ‘could easily be wrong’ and a ‘long way to go’.
C’mon…. admit you’re wrong and move on. Those statements are literally the opposite of writing someone off. ‘He won’t make it’, ‘no chance of succeeding’, ‘I won’t be wrong’…
Happy to put my positive and negative opinions on players out there. If others get upset about someone posting something that isn’t rainbows and lollipops about one of our players then so be it. Personally thought there was no way Archer would make it after season 1 and couldn’t be any happier...
The comment was bust respective to the position he was drafted. Which is to say not a top 5 player from the draft.
The post also said ‘early call’, ‘a long way to go’, ‘could easily be wrong’. On no planet does that equate to ‘writing someone off’.
You may want to brush up on your reading...
Ridiculous? Need to selectively quote and remove things to try and back up your statement/lie. Here is the full quote,
“Personally don’t think Duursma will be top 5 from the draft and be considered a bust respective to the position he was drafted but that’s an early call, could easily and...
Who is writing him off?
This sort of post is easy to generate likes but is just really lazy and disingenuous.
All that has occurred in this thread is people highlighting areas of concern in his first season but no one is saying he can’t or won’t make it. So stop with the hyperbole.
But yeah...
