I would be happy to give him up for a token pick as long as we are not paying a portion of his salary. Nothing against Grundy, I like him as a player but I just don't think it works with him and Gawn in the same team. And it is too much money to have him playing VFL in case Gawn gets injured.

I think Tomlinson may be an option to play in the forward line this year. If T Mac or Brown is out of form and Petty is keeping Tomo out of the back line they may consider playing him forward. I went pretty boring here with Spargo, T Mac, Brown, Jacko, Fritsch and Pickett.

On the draft and trade board Lore said that there is a rule that you can't trade a pick back to a club that has been traded to you. Potentially we were trying to trade the pick 39 to Adelaide as part of the deal to get 36 which isn't allowed as we received 39 from Adelaide initially.
