Newman was niggling Hunt in front of the members and knocked him down behind play just before all this, that's why there was a bit of extra curry in hunt's tackle.
So these don't fall under the general grammar/punctuation/spelling peeves but I'm going to put them down anyway.

Buying in.

As in: "We don't want him if he doesn't buy in to the Geelong way going forward."
Anyone who has any idea of where this awful language comes...
Geelong have four points to 'worry' about, as do Collingwood.
A loss this early in the season will not 'damage' either team. (Rember 08?)
Ablett will most likely keep rolling on towards another brownlow barring some unforseen injury.
