Totally agree about the St Marys crowd behind the coaching box - they gave up on the game in the last quarter and that was noticebale to the players as well - a poor sign. But, there were no shortage of sooks from Parkside either - feral supporters with no idea of the rules - but you get them...

Not sure how anyone from Parkside could honestly put their hand and accept the were in the best. Most of them were too interested in sniping and cowardly punches from behind. Can clearly see why they're in Div 3 and unlikely to ever move - unlike St Marys who have the potential to go places...

Let's remember that it is VOLUNTEER community radio. Both PVFM and NFL advertised for 'around the grounds' reporters and very few came forward. Let's also remember that many clubs do not make their people available before or after matches, and provide very poor details of players, numbers, etc.

Isn't that the problem though? The focus of the Seniors has been on the 1's only. And getting to div 1 and stuff the rest. No focus on juniors = no future players coming through. Surely they don't expect the good players to hang around in 2nd division for another year? The departing 17's of...

Well that settles it...based on what I'm reading here and what I'm told from blokes at both clubs..NOTHING HAS CHANGED. I was going to attend to help the cause, but BOTH clubs don't deserve it. And I'm sure there are others who feel the same. BOTH clubs should be ashamed that they have lost...

That's my point EXACTLY. As long as the seniors go okay, they couldn't give a toss about the rest of the place. What has happened at the junior club is a disgrace... And as bad as the people are who are running the juniors (and they are terrible), it's the senior committee that should be held...

I raised the same issues as this in the DIV 2 thread and was 'challenged' by Stude.. He seems to have been silenced by the club. What a shame. He seems like a loyal and passionate supporter. The sad truth is that Epping was warned about what was happening two years ago, and they did NOTHING...

That's true. Last time I spoke with people from Epping they said they had no 17's and no 19's. Apparently anyone who speaks up about it gets hammered down pretty quickly.

That's the problem at Pingerland... Too much emphasis on new players at the expense of club history, and culture. In the obsession to get to Div 1, they have sacrificed good, decent, and LOYAL players, for those chasing a buck...and those prepared to offer bucks. This is not about King - I know...
