Even with all those players you mentioned, how much depth did we have in the backline this year? E.G. Against collingwood we had smith play on tarrant. Jacobs will be playing forward next season so the only change i can see there is croad. You can tell they were looking for a consistant backman...

Dont think so THe hawks didnt have to send jade to the kangaroos if the didnt want to. We wanted a quality player in return for a quality player and you offered us one crap player and a pick. Why should we trade him when we can get a better deal somewhere else

Whats all this Everyone seems to be against hawthorns trades but i cant see why? This year we have had 2-3 tall backmen, one of which : graham, isn't that great anyway. WE had to play smith on tarrent. With beaumont, croad and jacobs we can use 3 of them in the backline, and all 3 are better...
