No doubt they can continue this amazing run for another season. Only major injuries will prevent Cats from playing off in another GF. Then again, we struggled through the 2nd half of this year with numerous injuries but still managed to pull off a stunning GF win.
While 07 was amazing and...
Wont happen this weekend....Bulldogs have few forwards that are capable of kicking multiple goals but we have. Let me list a few;
Mooney, Hawkins, Johnson, Chapman, Ablett, Ottens, Bartel, Rooke, Byrnes........the list goes on. We will have 7 goals before quarter time so good luck!!!
I got there at 1:30pm and had no probs getting a good posi. It may be a different story with more volumes of Saints fans compared to Port fans this time round.
Just being there is what its about for sure....Enjoy as its going to a beauty :)
Congrats on a fantastic career Lloydy. I was lucky enough to work at EFC during the 2000 premiership year and he was a bloke who was committed to the team and most of all was loyal and passionate about the club. Hopefully he stays on at the club in some capacity to help them strive towards...
I stood at the '07 GF directly behind the goals (Ponsford stand end) and had no probs viewing. We were lucky enough to get front row of standing room so all was good. Make sure you get there reasonably early to get a good posi. The other great thing is standing room is that little bit closer to...
Think you've taken my comment the wrong way. I agree that Swan should have received more votes but there has to be something about him that prevents Umpires voting for him. I can understand why Fevola doesnt receive many votes as he whinges like a school kid but what is it about Swan?
As for...
It obvious that the Umpires dont like Swan and from watching the coverage last night I can see why. He acted like a di#k and I can only assume he does the same on the ground as I expected him to challenge Ablett.
Re: Bomber says "Stokes will play"
I very much agree....the more line breakers we have the quicker we will move the ball so as to not allow the St Kilda defence to flood. While Stokes could add some forward pressure we have players capable of this.
Surely winning a few hundred dollar would not take away the pain of reaching the GF and losing. Put your cash on your side and have confidence in your teams ability to win on the big stage after their 22-2 record so far this year.
We have to start Blake on the bench come Sat and start with Ottens. He was as nervous as a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs on sat night. Bring him on 10 mins into the 1st as he just cant handle the big stage.
Given Dick has played 15 games so far this year and has only had 38 scoring attempts I dont understand this comment. He may have kicked 5 against the wooden spooners back in round 11 but other than that has struggled against quality opposition.
I thought Wellingham was a huge contributor in the 1/2 half turn-around with his ability to find space with his quick leg speed. I think the huge spaces on the MCG suits his game style and I think he should probably play.
I would envisage that the Cats will be providing more than 38 tackles...
