to Lamb, Mullett
I think that Kennedy is in our best 22. He is as hard as a cats head , wins contested possessions , tackles well and great support for Murph and Crippa.
I would like to see more of big Harry and would prefer young O'Brien ahead of Mullett or Lamb. Garlett shows some good signs...
It is hard to understand how what Judd did created a lynch mob mentality and standing on Bett's hand (only luck there was no damage) hardly created a murmur. I guess a lot of folks have never forgiven Judd for turning down their club and joining Carlton.
I don't know how Lawrence Angwin is going but I'm sure that you could find out if you are really interested.
If you were to look closely you would find that he is a member of a family with a long (and proud) history with your club. You would also know that he was a reasonably early draft pick by...
I agree that the loser here is AFL Football. No matter what happens from here some mud is going to stick. The NRL fans will have a field day with it which will do nothing but harm to the Western Sydney club.
There is nothing to be gained by fans slagging off other clubs particularly as no club...
Sheesh you are a bit rough on Nick Stevens. He could well have become an invalid but was out there anyway. The bloke gave the club good service and was expected to carry us in the darkest years. Bit of loyalty in return would be good.
There has been nothing fair about the AFL since the draft and salary cap was instituted to try and give clubs who were abject failures in thier own right (like your club for instance) a leg up at the expense of the well managed clubs.
Yet despite all of this and your club inventing tanking...
Does that include the one who has been your defensive coach for the past few years ?
You know, the one that has built a competitive defence for you and turned Zac Dawson into a competent AFL defender.
This from a fan of the club that after being subsidised for decades by the big 4 clubs invented "bottoming out" and still have won only 1 flag in over 100 years.
Lets look at your clubs performance.
2000 bottomed out add St Nick and Kozi
2001 bottomed out again add Ball, Xman & DelSanto...
If they were half smart they would look to thier talent interstate before considering Rex.
Brisbane would be a good place to start.
Rex would be like a square peg in a round hole at MMM.
He polarises his audience and MMM will lose a lot more listeners than they will gain.
The only flaw in Robert Harvey's game was that he wasn't in Navy Blue.
Are you serious with your comments or just being controversial for controversy's sake ?
That's the part that got me..99 games..would be a shame to see a possible father-son go down the gurgler for the lack of one game.
Surely they could have given him just 1 game last season to qualify.
Hope it doesn't come back to bite you.
I hope Carlton have a crack at him, I am a fan.
Think that you are spot on. One thing we can be sure of about our boyo is that he can't be intimidated and doesn't mind doing a bit of intimidating himself.
He could play the Earl Spalding role really well.
Unleash the beast.
I would be more concerned with your own clubs future if I were you.
A couple of early losses and the Tiger army will quickly drop off and start eating thier own only to crawl out from under bus seats to celebrate a rare win.
Stand by for more broken hearted kids in tears whilst parents try to...
Yes Syd Jackson played in the 70's, an awful long time before your first indiginous player wasn't it. I well remember all of the racist taunts of your supporters aimed at Syd way back then and the Winmar incident 20 years on showed just how racist Collingwood was even then.
Playing the race...
Don't forget the great Syd Jackson playing for Carlton when your club had a policy that excluded our aboriginal people.
Or the "glory" that your club brought to itself in the Nicky Winmar episode.
Collingwood fans should be very careful about playing the race card lest it comes right back at them.
