    AFL Cairns - 2011 Season

Tyson will do a good job at Centrals no doubting that, but you cant fire a gun with no amunition! Willy Allick would have been a great pick up for them, not for his playing ability which has definately lessoned over the last couple of seasons but because people just love to be around his...

    AFL Cairns - 2010 season

Who is the new Cities coach? and is it confirmed that it will be Cairns City Lions?. Good to hear all these positive things happening at Tigerland, hopefully positive things are going on at other clubs if so we'd like to hear about it. Up the Tiges

And how many playing assistant coaches do they have???? I must agree though, the good incentive scheme is the way to go

    AFL Cairns - 2010 season

I doubt that this is true, and sitting at the bar imagining what people might be saying is hardly hearing it with your own ears! Now upthemiddle, instead of bagging out other clubs and the league admin staff how about getting involved in your own club my more than just propping up the bar...

    AFL Cairns - 2010 season

Ricther is a big tip to coach next year as Wes was only ever helping out when needed by his own admission, and maybe to start a new rumour, there may be not 1 but 2 former AFL players next year as assistant/playing coaches at north cairns. Big things for the Tigers install!

    AFL Cairns - 2010 season

Cobra's playing good footy to late in the season, they along with Norths, probably deserve to be there (in the final 4) instead of centrals at the moment. Here's hoping the Doggies can find some of their early season form and put on a show in the finals!

Look thats fine if you pass, all I'm saying is is, if anyone wants to check his references the BIG FAN gives him the BIG thumbs up!

    AFL Cairns - 2010 season

I disagree completely, for any coaching panel to work there can only be one leader. No one can guarantee to be a good example 100% of the time, we all have flaws in our personalities, this is what makes us human As far as commitment goes I dont think there would be an issue, I can say he...

    AFL Cairns - 2010 season

As I said "as an assistant" he has a good football brain and a real passion for it, he lacks those leadership skills and perhaps some direction but "in the right enviroment" he would add a lot to any coaching staff

    AFL Cairns - 2010 season

Lane could never be blamed for what happened in 04, he had no more involvement in what happened than any other player on the ground. As far as his playing days are concerned, they may be well and truelly over however in the right enviroment I think he could certainly add a lot to a coaching...

    AFL Cairns - 2010 season

Richters clearence is mearly a formallity, he had signed a contract for 2 years(1 remaining) however was given a verbal blessing to return to FNQ for professional reasons. His former club Laurderdale is mearly trying to get some cash, you cant really blame them for that, it is fairly common...

Lucas has decided to play at Manunda, for his own personal reasons(although he is yet to be cleared as there is the matter of the sign on fee he accepted). As far as his discipline goes he had a very frustrating year at Norths last year(not that thats an excuse) I think in perhaps a stronger...

Well, well, well, would I be right in thinking that 'the good judge' and 'Mr X' may in fact be the same person? Would it be the same person we think it might be? Mmm something doesn't quite add up there. Has it also come out that the 'assistant' may had also done some terribly unscrupulas...

    Cairns AFL

Ok, Ok I also think judge Judy or what ever his name is having a bit of trouble getting a grip on reality. If any of us wanted to pick holes in any club we could but that would serve no real purpose. I think the best thing we all can do now is get back to looking after our own clubs and...

    Cairns AFL

What a hornets nest Cairns football has become! If Kane signs (or signed) with norths it will certainly not be for $1000 a game. I agree with watsons oval, the league (his employer) should encourage him to sign with a struggling team rather than one of the power house clubs of the compitition...
