I am a mother, but I can tell you this much.
The day of the birth will be an amazing high, quickly followed by the worst six weeks of your life. I tell people that because it is true, because no one else will tell you and because at least then when it happens you will know it is normal!
The...
Re: VOTES Rnd 13
A defensive side to his game would be nice. Ran with Gabblet for most of the night (only know this as he stood next to him at the clearances, he was no where near him when the ball was in play!:o)
On the best player in the league, who got a lazy 37 touches, and Fletcher...
Stenglein??? You have got to be joking, was awful last night.
We were laughing while watching the game (other option was crying), every single time Stinger got the ball we were waiting for the old bang it on the boot and ....... turn over!! He did the same thing everytime he got a possession...
5.Wirra
4. Lynch
3. McNamara
2. Nicoski
1. Houlihan
Hard to give out the votes as there were probably a lot of players that deserved one for effort like Hunter, LeCras, Davis, Butler, Wilkes and Schofield. Not many that deserved more than one vote however!:o
Once again the youngsters...
5. Lynch - he was inspirational tonight, worked his guts out and clearly our BOG.
4. Kerr
3. Butler - welcome back Butts, we have missed you!
2. Staker
1. Hunter - thought he played well for his first game back
Embers was good in the first half but faded badly in the second.
Priddis got a lot of the ball, but for the most part his disposal was rubbish (and that is from a Priddis lover.:()
5. Embley
4. Bones
3. Ebert
2. Selwood
1. Stenglien
Cox, Glass and Priddis probably deserved votes as well but you cant overlook the jobs Stenglien and Selwood did shutting down McLeod and Goodwin. When was the last time McLeod got 8 possessions in a game? Burton five?
Great job...
5. Cox
4. Fletcher
3. Masten
2. Staker
1. Embley
Pretty hard to choose tonight, disapointing loss but there were plenty of good signs too. Something to give us hope.
Would have liked to have given votes to Schofield, Ebert, Kennedy, Selwood, Stenglein and Wirra as well. Not sure I have even...
I flew on the same plane to Melbourne as them and I swear my arms are bigger than his. There is no way he could out muscle any full back in the league. If he doesn't take a mark on a lead he is stuffed because he cannot use his body to get position. The thing is he is not new to the system, has...
5. Wirra
4. Kennedy
3. A. Selwood
2. Cox
1. Masten
There are others that could be considered too like Lynch, McKinley, and Kerr which seems strange considering the amount we lost by. Maybe my voting standards are slipping?:o
LOL, women think the same way about men you know.
The difference is we are smart enough to realise if we marry them we can get half a house as well.;):p
I have just re-watched the first half. So far he has won clearances, chased, tackled, found space and delivered it to a forwards chest three times in the fifty.
Maybe he goes down hill in the second? I'll get back to you.
Too tired to really concentrate on all that right now, but the only thing I would say is that playing Fletcher or Embley before Priddis (as their form stands now) is pure folly.
I spent a good deal of time watching Fletcher today and he was so far off silk it wasn't funny. He would not know a...
Eagle87, as far as when is Priddis going to get a tag, how the hell would I know, you would have to ask an opposition coach that one.
How was what Kerr did any better than what Priddis contributed today? Kerr may like to attempt the impossible to pull off manouver, or go for a flashy run down...
I seem to remember Sydney won a premiership using this style not so long ago. What is so wrong about building a team around hard working players? They are the backbone of any team.
Who is currently on the list that would do a better job than Priddis?
True, but how this is the fault of Priddis...
I dont think this very often of your posts, but that is just crap.
We would be in even more desperate trouble without Priddis' committment to the contest. Fourth in the comp for dispossals, sixth in the comp for tackles. If only Fletcher could learn something from him. How does someone like...
Agree with you there. I cant understand how he is getting votes? Maybe because on a score of 1-10 he was a 1 in Round 1 and a 2 in Round 2 so people are giving him votes for doubling his effort?
:thumbsu::D
Make sure you get your plastic boobies out. Seems to be a requirement for footyplayers girlfriends.
May not need them if you just want the one night though. Or they may be more important, who knows?;)
