Is this a speculation or a nugget of insight?
I think the logo is a bit of a grower. I liked it yesterday and I like it a bit more today. Its a tough task and its never going to please everyone.
10x better than the corny retina burning lifeguard brand and logo we have now. The logo itself will be able to be made into some more wearable 'trendy' merch that hopefully gets people wearing it outside of just going to the footy.

Giannis Antetokounmpo's done a bit for number 34. don't think many kids thought much of number 14 prior to Thierry Henry, either.
Well I mean, number 23... meant nowt. since the 90s though and it's crept into every sport as a desired number.

I really liked the guernsey because of what they did with the colours. Darker red in the middle and fades out to a lighter red. There's a discrete red wave on the side. IMO, it looked really cool but I know everyone will have different opinions. They wanted it to look different to other clubs coz they know they're not a traditional club and i think they stand out well and did it in a clever way. I reckon we'll see more ppl wearing the guernsey out and about because it looks cool.
