Received an email myself for the 15th.

Keen to see the new Jumper and Rebranding and such.

Id love for them to really hit it out of the park with something amazing.

The fact they appear to have gone to an individual designer is a worry, all the terrible designs across all the expansion clubs have done that. You're much better going with a selection of online fan designs and plucking a few of the best options out of that, much like port (and maybe Freo), did with their redesigns, which at the time were seen as a major upgrade.

Yeah I think I agree, but at the time the new choices were very popular coz they were your traditional footy jumpers. They are both pretty plain and boring now, just need a little something extra added to look decent imo.

I would think they would have engaged a range of designers then they narrowed it down to get the to the final design though

You'd hope so, but I don't think this was done with previous suns, giants and devils reveals, they went through the one company, it's why they came out poorly. I may be wrong but that's my memory of it, the devils definitely only went with one and that was only recently. They got absolutely smashed online too, rightfully so.

Good theory but in Queensland it gets light at like 4am and Sunrise is before 5...

Sunrise on the Gold Coast is 4:53am, which is 5:53am in Sydney due to daylight savings. Channel 7's Sunrise starts at 5:30am Sydney time.
